I'm not great at describing the various subtle notes in a fragrance, but I do know what I like and what I don't like when I smell it. Frankly, most colognes I DON'T like, because they're too overpowering, or too pungent, or too sickening sweet, or too masculine, or too musky, or too spicy, or just plain awful. While this fragrance is a bit potent, it is a very pleasant scent. But I would suggest doing as Kelly Rippa suggested, as this is what she wears: Do NOT apply it directly onto your body, but instead, spray it into the air and walk through the mist. That should impart just enough scent onto your body, without being too overpowering.
