An interesting figure.

If you're a fan of Evangelion, you can probably guess what scene this variant figure is based on. The figure is made from a very dark, clear purple plastic. The quality of the plastic is high, with a smooth feel and durability. The paint application is minimal, but amazing. The shade of neon lime green Bandai used is spot on. It looks incredible. The Robot Damashii figures standard of pose ability is intact with this figure and it also comes with a wide array of accessories. I can't wait to get the action stages and snap some photos. Buy this figure if you were thinking about it at all.

Great Alternate Version of EVA-01

Same as the regular edition except darker colors, clear purple parts, more vibrant green paint and paint is high gloss instead of matte. I have both the standard edition and this special edition and really like them both. This a great figure design and if I was forced to choose, I would say this version is the nicest looking, but both are different looking and excellent figures. Some of the best designed and modeled robot spirits hands down.

This items is amazing. The Night Combat color scheme just makes it look awesome and it looks just like it did in the movie. The accessories are great and include: 2 pallet guns, several different hands, 2 prog knives, an umbilical cord, an extra berserk mode head, and 4 different horns, 2 really pliable horns and 2 more stiff horns that are easily exchangeable. The figure itself feels really sturdy and solid. I did have some trouble getting the right hip to move and thought i was going to snap it but it started moving and now everything is perfect. This figure can be put into just about in pose you can think of although for mid air or jumping poses you will need to order the Tamashii Stage Act 5 for Mechanics to pull those off but they are relatively inexpensive. There is a weird smell, i think its due to the clearish plastic used, to it when you open it but it dissipates quickly. All in all I couldn't be more happy with this figure and now i just wish there was and Angel RD that i could pose it with.
