After not seeing any glow using Olay product for years, happened into the Estee Lauder line. It's not an overnight face lift, but you will start to see your pores have shrunken, you skin looks much more dewy after 3 or so weeks. Liked the effects of this and started using the entire line (daytime perfectionest serum +++++++) along with the moisturizers (I loved TimeZone and have moved up to their Resilience Lift day/night moisturizers). Switched my base from Clinque over to their Resilience Lift foundation also..All makeup now Estee Lauder (concealer, etc),I haven't looked this refreshed in years!!! Took 5 years off and glow!I had always noticed the customers at the Estee Lauder counter in the dept store always looked very good - duh!!!You may think EL is costly, but you use such a 'tiny' amount of product the product lasts for months. So in the end I spend less than Olay days and look killer better.Wish I went this route 15 years ago :-)

I'm only giving it four stars because it made me break out a few times. Now that I only use it at night(product does say to use it before make-up for best results), I'm not having much of a problem. Does what it says at preserving your skin.

This is serum not a cream, and is supposed to be used in conjunction with an Estee Lauder moisturizer. I have used this product on an off for about three years and have not noticed a positive difference in my skin, other than it holds moisturizers on the skin better than bare skin. I usually use this an Estee Lauder moisturizer (usually hydrationist) and have used it along side advanced night repair eye cream.When I first started using the Night Repair Complex my skin turned red, burned a little and started flaking. For the life of me I still do not know why, it supposedly does not contain a retinol and does not contain menthol (the other ingredient I react to). I have not seen a reduction in my fine lines (specifically the ones around my eyes and near my forehead), my skin is more red after using this-not more radiant, it definitely does help fight acne, it does not help fade acne scars or dark spots to help even skin tone and I am having a difficult time figuring out what the anti-oxidants are in this.With all that said Estee Lauder claims to have 20 patents on this product. Estee Lauder also claims this neutralizes environmental factors, and I have to admit I have not had any new fine lines forming. I will stick to proven products-like retinoids at night, but use this after tough work outs and on nights where I exfoliate and can not use a retinoid. I usually only buy this when I have a gift card to use, or when Estee Lauder is giving a cool gift with purchase.
