5Probably the best value pedals.
By JL
I have these pedals on Specialized Roubaix, and they are simply great. If you are really into reducing weight, you may want to get Ultegra, Dura-Ace, or Speedplay pedals. But if you're just starting the cleat pedals, this would be a great choice. It took me 5 minutes to learn how to get in & out of it.I keep the binding tension to the minimum, but it hasn't been disengaged accidentally during the 30mph riding. The pedals come with quite a bit of grease in between the silvery part and black part, and these grease collect quite a bit of dirt within a week.Since they are black, usual wear and tear on the side scratches up the clear coat and they become quite noticeable after some time.

4respectable pedal
By John
I like these pedals. I am a recreational rider, but tend to ride competitively with myself; while I don't need the weight reduction/quality improvement of ultegra/dura-ace I like a durable and still, quality pedal. I got them essentially free when they accidentally ended up on a floor model bike I purchased (pedals unintentionally left off cost of bike), though having ridden the base model spd-sl pedals previously, I imagine I'd be alright paying for these (especially the discounted Amazon price). I've not used ultegra/dura-ace, so I can't compare. Over the spd-sl, though, I noticed the 105's tend to spin a little more freely. They are also much more secure. The clip in/out feels stronger and more solid without having adjusted the tension on the release. I haven't had problems clipping out for stopping, nor have I had my foot release under high torque (which happened on occasion with the spd-sl). Oppositely, they are easy to get into. They have a large target zone so mounting your bike in traffic isn't very difficult, and if you're not able to lock in quickly, the pedals are large/flat enough to use as a platform pedal until you've found time to properly secure your cleat. I've pedaled through a few turns and had a one hit the ground and minus cosmetic damage, they have not been phased (mechanically). The only issue I've found with these pedals is based on personal style. They have six degrees of float, which is comfortable, but for my style of riding, I've found the mechanism which returns your foot to the neutral position (center) is a little strong. I tend to run on the pigeon-toed side of straight, and have noticed that translates to my riding position. For shorter rides this isn't a problem, of course, but for longer ones I notice some fatigue. I know that riding style needs to change (and running for that matter) so I don't tear up my legs and it's something I'll work on it since I've become extremely aware of it. But for now, if you have similar tendencies, it's worth taking note if you're on a test ride or considering the 105s.

5Nice Pedals
By Matthew Schratwieser
Updated from Shimano spd pedals and these are a huge improvement for road biking. The platform is much more stable and the release tension feels strong enough for a good sprint while loose enough to let go in a hurry if you need it to. Also much easier to walk on the cleats.

4Fantastic quality curtains
By Wiedemann Family
Great quality, material looks rich. Fast delivery. This is not your typical off the shelf quality curtain. Only con is how wrinkled they are when they come out of the packaging. It was difficult to get all the wrinkles and creases out.

5These Drapes are dreamy!
By Cristy L.
I ordered these Beacon Looms curtain in a gorgeous, pewter-colored silk. While this color is out of stock on Amazon, I believe there are a still a few available for sale on a certain online auction and shopping Website which will remain nameless! Anyway, they're simply perfect: soft, nubby, heavy silk; a double lining for privacy and insulation; even tiny weights sewn into the bottom hem to make them hang beautifully. They're obviously very high quality and made to last. The fabric is lustrous without being overly shiny, and the color is classic without being boring. Recommend!

5TS02 + mic + fantastic sound + comfort
By Joshua D. Cohen
As with all electronics that I purchase, I spend a good deal of time evaluating quality, price, and the competition. I was in the market for a mid-level earphone with microphone for use with my (now clearly outdated) iPhone 3G. I wanted to keep it under $100, preferably closer to $50. However, it soon became apparent that towards the lower end of this price range, the usual suspects (Sony, Sennheiser, SkullCandy, etc.) all compromised build quality, sound, comfort, or a mixture of the three. Even the esteemed Klipsch s4i's seemed to have a few bad apples. A little delving brought me to ThinkSound, which not only boasted "wooden" acoustic housing, but a generally eco-friendly production scheme. While this is certainly a huge plus, in all honesty it's hard to make a purchase solely on a product's packaging and marketing. Nonetheless, I took the leap after reading glowing yet astute reviews of the earphones.I purchased them directly from the manufacturer and actually saved 20% by entering a code I found online. This brought the cost to that sweet-spot $70s range, which I think is a fantastic value considering how impressed I am with the overall quality. What stands out in particular is the snug seal that these buds provide, which not only reduces ambient noise quite well (even better than $150 UE SuperFi 5i Pro) but greatly reduces wear strain over time. The wooded casing does seem to "warm" the sound a bit, but other than a slight bass boom at times, the sound spectrum range is flat, accurate, and very clean. The mic functions perfectly, and the one-button "call/pause/FF/RW" is a bit strange to get used to, but is very intuitive after a bit of fiddling. I do wish a volume rocker was included with the mic, however.PROS: Sound quality, comfort, slim form factor, company ethos (excellent customer service)CONS: moderate cord noise (clip is included), no volume rocker--------------------CONCLUSION: ThinkSound TS02+mic are an excellent mid-level choice for smartphone users looking for comfort, sound quality, and value.

4Natural Sound Through Nature
By Justin McBride
IntroductionBefore I begin, I'd like to thank the folks at Thinksound for sending me a pair of the TS02+Mic IEMs for review.Thinksound is a company with a mission; to produce great sounding and environmentally conscious products. This started with the Thinksound Rain and Thunder (now named TS01) IEMs, which offered great bang for the buck performance in a world in which wooden IEMs weren't exactly common. Now, Thinksound has released a new product in the TS02+Mic, which aims to combine the best strengths of the Rain and Thunder in the form of the deep soundstage and well separated presentation and the Thunder's thunderous (pun totally unintended) bass while also adding increased functionality to users of most modern cellphones such as the iPhone and various Android devices.Read on for my full review of the Thinksound TS02+Mic IEMs.Packaging and AccessoriesThis is a section of the review that I usually gloss over but in this case, I'll make an exception because the packaging here is so different than what I'm accustomed to. First off, the IEMs arrived in a nice brown box, made entirely of recycled material. One thing that Thinksound does differently from a number of manufacturers is packaging the IEMs in a nice cardboard insert, a stark and welcome contrast to the plastic inserts used by most other manufacturers. Clearly, when Thinksound says they're committed to protecting the environment, they mean it.In terms of accessories, the TS02s come with four pairs of silicone single flange eartips (XS, S, M and L), a shirt clip and an unbleached drawstring pouch; all in all, on par with other sets in this price range, if slightly lacking in comparison to headsets from MEElectronics.Design and Build QualityThe TS02+Mic IEMs, like their predecessors, the Thunder (TS01) and Rain, feature housings made of wood and aluminum. The TS02 is similar to the Rain in design, featuring long, thin housings which feature aluminum nozzles. The housings themselves are ported and feature stylistic indentations on the sides. The cable is a bit thicker than average, rubbery feeling to the touch, flexible and properly relieved at both ends, which leads me to believe that these could stand up to a decent amount of abuse. One minor quibble I have with the TS02s is that I experienced a fair amount of driver flex when inserting these into my ears. Microphonic noise is about average when worn cable down and lessened when worn over the ear, although the latter wearing style may not be suitable for using them as a headset due to the higher microphone position. The result of Thinksound's eco-friendly design is a pair of IEMs that is both aesthetically sound and seemingly practical enough to stand the test of time.Comfort and IsolationThe conventional, straight barrel design of the TS02s lends itself well to either shallow or deep insertion and I was able to get a comfortable and secure fit with the medium sized eartips, which is a bit odd, considering I usually favor smaller eartips. The reason I chose to go with the medium tips instead of the small tips I usually use is the fact that these seem to be more sensitive to the quality of the seal than most of the other IEMs in my collection. If tight seal is not achieved, these sound rather distant and bass-deficient. Once a good seal is achieved, the IEMs are very comfortable. These are ported at the rear so these don't isolate as well as many other IEMs but this was not a problem to me in my usage.Of course, comfort is a wildly subjective thing and thus, your mileage may vary. However, given that Thinksound has included both small and extra small tips, I doubt that anyone will have much of a problem with these in terms of fit. Personally, I've never come across a pair of eartips that were this small before so I was a bit surprised.Sound QualityBurn-in: These IEMs have been given upwards of 50 hours of burn-in prior to review. The low end produced by the Thinksound TS02s is very voluminous and impactful. In comparison to some of the most bass-heavy IEMs in my collection such as the MEElectronics M11P+, the TS02s aren't quite as punchy or as deep, which may be a benefit to fans of more balanced and neutral sound signatures. Extension is definitely impressive, however, as bass rumble was easily discernable around 20Hz and extended with decent linearity into the midrange. Both attack and decay are a bit on the slow side so more bass driven tracks can get a little congested at times but in general, bass is fairly well controlled and tight enough not to creep up to heavily into the midrange. As a fan of Hip-Hop/Rap, Rock and Electronic music, the deep, powerful bass produced by the TS02s is very engaging and fun to listen to.The midrange is relatively linear, if slightly forward, in their presentation and makes for a very engaging listen. Vocals are clear and carry appropriate timbre and tonal balance throughout the range. The TS02s aren't as detailed or transparent as my RE0s but they are definitely very capable of articulating finer details of music. In particular, stringed instruments are very natural sounding and the acoustic guitars that factors so heavily into Flamenco and other forms of acoustic music were a treat to listen to. Treble was certainly laid back and relaxed in comparison to the bass and midrange and because of this, lends the earphones a bit of a dark sound signature. Extension is nice, if a bit less than linear at times, and there's an audible dip in the lower treble region, which likely contributes to the relative lack of sibilance I noticed. The soundstage produced by the TS02s is among the deepest I've ever heard in an IEM. In terms of lateral width, the stage is a little above average but these do a great job of portraying depth while remaining cohesive and doing a surprisingly good job on keeping things intimate. Instrument separation is, as you've likely guessed, quite good with a nice accompanying sense of position within the virtual soundstage. What struck me most about the Thinksound TS02s the more I listened to them is just how relaxed and easy to listen to these are. Throughout the frequency range, there are hardly any unpleasant spikes to speak of. Even while listening to Eminem's Recovery album, an album that I can only listen to after bumping down the upper mids and lower treble a few dB with many other headphones due to my sensitivity to sibilance but with the TS02s, I don't have to do that. They are exceptionally smooth in the mids and treble. While this warm, relaxed and laid back presentation will likely turn off fans of brighter sounding headphones, these make for a very easy-going and non-fatiguing pair of IEMs.It's also worth noting that these IEMs tend to his slightly audibly with my sources, including my normally dead silent laptop headphone out and my iPod Touch.Microphone QualityI have tested this with both my second generation iPod Touch as well as my LG Env Touch cell phone and the microphone quality is about in line with other products I've used. My voice came through clear and undistorted during regular phone calls on the Env Touch and Skype calls on my iPod Touch.ConclusionThinksound has produced a very nice set of IEMs in the TS02+Mic. The sound quality alone is something special but Thinksound's commitment to producing not only great sounding but environmentally friendly products is unmatched in the industry. For the retail price of $99.99, you're getting a great pair of earphones in the TS02+Mic IEMs that can compete with other sets that retail for similar or even higher prices. Everything I threw at these, from Hip-Hop to Jazz and Rock to Classical sounded great. Punchy bass, smooth and slightly prominent mids and delicate, if a tad laid back, highs make for a warm and natural sound signature that is a very pleasant and relaxing listening experience. For users looking for a headset for their iPhone, Blackberry, Android or other phone that functions well as a headset and even better as a way to listen to music, these IEMs come highly recommended.

5Full, balanced sound
By Timothy Hallinan
I prefer these to ear buds that cost four times as much -- in fact, I've bought three pair. They're neither metallically shrill nor artificially bass-pumped. What I love about them is the fat, full middle register, which is never muddy. Lots of air in the sound, which makes them good for rock and classical.

5M402 - Like it much better than I thought I would
By Chris
First let me say that if you are wondering what the difference between this model (M402) and the M402SR is, the answer is that this model DOES NOT come with the remote snooze button that the M402SR comes with even though it is shown in the picture and mentioned in the description. From the literature that came with the unit, it is possible to purchase this if you really want one.I spent a lot of time trying to find a good alarm clock radio with an iPod dock that didn't cost a small fortune or take up too much space. This one fit the bill. After reading the description, I thought that it "would do." I felt like I was settling for something less than I really wanted because I just didn't want to spend the money on something more expensive.Okay, so I don't really like the way it this thing looks. Let's face it, it looks like something from out of the 80's. However, it isn't quite as ugly in person as it looks in the picture. That is a great relief since I have to look at it everyday. The unit sounds pretty good - way better than the little speakers I was using before to listen to my iPod. I won't say it can fill a room, but it is more than acceptable for most people.I works great with my iPod Touch 4th gen. The little remote that comes with the unit allows me to control my iPod, and the dock does charge my iPod just as stated. The screen on the unit even scrolls the song title and artist. The FM radio works well. For stations that broadcast the information, the unit will scroll the song title and artist. Very cool feature since sometimes when I listen to the radio I want to know that information. I have my 4 favorite FM stations programmed into the presets. The mood lighting feature is okay. For me it is just kind of a thrown on feature that is cute to have, but I don't think it really does anything. It does have a a number of colors to choose from, and the intensity is adjustable from 1 - 17 (17? Really? Who came up with that number?). To be honest, it's just not bright enough to really set any kind of mood. The most that can be said for it, is that it is a nice customizable night light. The clock and the alarm were easy to set. The unit even displays the day and date on the screen. Some of the reviews on the M402SR said that it was difficult, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. Also, some of the reviews for the M402SR said that there were only 3 volume levels for the alarm. That may have been the case at one point in time, but on my unit the alarm volume is fully adjustable.Overall, I am VERY pleased with this unit. I actually would have to say that I love it. So far I haven't found anything I dislike about it (well, except for the 80's style appearance).

5Definitely much better then I thought! I love it!
By Kutrn
I had an old cd clock radio that I liked but needed to upgrade. I really liked waking up to a particular song on my cd and I hate the beeping my husband's clock makes whenever he sets his alarm. I read a lot of reviews on different choices, and I liked everything about this clock but it looked much larger then I wanted. Based on the only review on this item, I was weighing a lot on the comment that it looked better in person, and it does! It's not nearly as big as I thought, it has a sleek clean look, setting all the settings was easy with lots of easy choices, no beeping every time you set things, and the sound is awesome! I now play my Ipod a lot more instead of letting it sit on my nightstand waiting to be used for an occasional run, and again, it sounds great! The kids (young adult age) were impressed with my purchase, didn't think it looked outdated at all, and automatically assumed I paid a fortune. For the price, it's definitely worth it and I am thinking about buying more for everyone else in the house who could use an upgrade (especially for my husband who likes to set his beeping clock right when I'm falling asleep). I highly recommend it!

4Great, except for a software glitch
By p kinn
I got this system as a Christmas gift in 2010. It works great except for a software glitch. Every once and a while I will use the remote to change the radio station from my desk. It will not respond and the screen will go blank, and it will reset itself. Other then that, I've not had any problems with it.Bass- Not the best, but what could you expect from a system without a subwoofer?Sound Quality- Very Good. I personally think the sound quality on this system is better then my VS2621's.Value- Personally I think $130 is a little much for this system. I think $99 is a more realistic price.Overall bass is decent and the sound quality is good, but it is a little pricey.

4Just As Advertised
By John D. Meara
I am not reviewing the quality of the Enriched Air Course or the material in the book. I personally don't love the knowledge reviews and the way they present the information, but it seems consistent with standard textbooks of any subject really. After taking my open water course I felt as though the materials did a good job of giving me a basic understanding of scuba principles. In terms of this purchase, I primarily made it for the price. Based on comparing websites and what not I determined that $59.99 with free prime shipping was a good bargain.Note for certification: I found a place that will allow me to do a lot of the book work prior to arriving so that we can spend more time in the water diving. If you are planning a trip call up and ask if this is possible. I think I will be happy I did this. The only thing is that you must have the discipline to actually study on your own prior to arriving at your destination. I'm a little nervous my plane trip might be a cram session!

5Best monitor in 8 years if trying to find a good one
By J. Wells
Eight years ago, we had our first child, and that began the quest to find a decent baby monitor. Then we lived in a small home (1200 sq ft) and only used it for naps and for the hours between his bedtime and ours because his bedroom was right next to ours.Even with this modest need we had multiple problems with each one we tried. Only one of these monitors is still available for sale, the Sony Babycall. That monitor couldn't pick up our sons room 20 feet away, but beeped at us, shouted static and picked up neighborhood cordless phone calls better than our son's room. It was dramatically affected by weather. At that time we also tried a first years and a graco monitor, both of which had similar issues. The random beeping when signal was lost especially drove me nuts. Then we moved to a larger two story house (2000 sq ft). We added a cordless phone system and wi-fi. The Graco monitor, a two parent rechargeable type, was now needed at night and often woke us, beeping because it had lost connection with the base unit. Many times I scoured the Internet looking for a solution, learning about frequencies different devices use, even tried buying a new model, another Graco monitor, very expensive, that would just lose connection and we would have dead air, no beeps and never re-establish connection. That happened twice and it went back to the store. Before buying this one, I called motorola to find out what frequency it used. The techncian told me it was 2.4 to 2.46 or something of that nature. I don't believe this is DECT like another reviewer stated, and it isn't what my box said when it arrived. I was worried, because 2.4 ghz is the level my wi-fi operates at on my N router. However, my fears were unfounded. The box said it was wi-fi friendly and they were right. This monitor is incredibly reliable where so many others have failed. I have used it for about a month now. Never lost contact, never beeped. Just reliable service every time we turn it on. We are so relieved to finally have found one that will not drive us crazy and will work as promised! We don't need a video monitor, temperature monitoring or humidity monitoring (?!). We just need to know if our child is awake, asleep, or needs us. I think that is all parents really need. But the market is saturated with all this other junk, meanwhile the technology hasn't evolved to make sure that they actually WORK. Thank you, Motorola, for bridging that gap!We love that it has a rechargeable battery, with a very long life. Its nice looking too. The only way they could improve it would be to make it a 2 parent receiver set. Even providing 2 charging cables would be nice, so there could be one upstairs and one downstairs. If you have wi-fi interfering with your reception, or analog monitors have let you down, this is the one to try, It should work for most people since we have most of the technology that causes interference and it works for us.

4No sensitivity adjustment
By Lisa and Naomi's mom
This product could use a microphone sensitivity adjustment given that we're used to hearing even background sounds on our old Fisher Price unit. As second time parents though, we think this product is fine because we're no longer straining to hear every breath. The baby unit only transmits when a certain audible threshold is reached. It operates in the 2.4 GHz band, does not seem to interfere with our wi-fi network, and works perfectly well in our one-story rambling home. It comes with ac adapters for each of the parent and baby units, and the baby unit can make the parent unit beep if the latter is misplaced. The parent unit also has a belt clip and a proprietary (arg) rechargeable battery. It also provides an out of range warning and an out of battery indicator. There are 5 volume settings in the parent unit and it is plenty loud in our quiet home at less than the max setting. It's so clear that the first time our baby cried, I was momentarily confused because I was getting it clearly in stereo from two directions! It also works outdoors just fine but starts to lose the link when it has to penetrate through 4 walls. I'll just have to move my baby to a different bedroom when working in the front yard I suppose. :P

4The 2.4GHz DECT prevents interference
By Robert J Mayell
I had Sony monitors (900MHz devices). The Sony units would click and pop all night long due to interference.as they picked up all sorts of interference (from both other phones and monitors in the area), but also from smart-meters.The Motorola 2.4GHz DECT system is flawless. No interference whatsoever...Definitely happy with this purchase!

5Saves time
By Karen J. Kelley
I have a lot of leaves and a large amount of the time spent is in lugging the leaves down to my burn pile. Same goes for schrub clippings. This saved me tons of time and effort since I could drag 10 times as much in one trip.

4leaf net
By Gregory D. Artman
shipped timely. price ok. used it to haul away several loads of leaves. easy to haul across yard. only trouble is the rope that ties the fold up sides: it is cumbersome to use. otherwise a good product

2I really wanted to like it...
By Miranda Merten
I really wanted to like this monitor because it was a nice looking digital monitor for a great price. But, I guess you get what you pay for. I was compelled to leave a review because I had little help when purchasing this monitor (I had to find another review website) but the features in the description seemed to be what I needed.PROS:Digital: I was having problems with my previous analog monitor (Summer) interfering with other monitors and viewing other peoples children. Although I did not own it long, I didn't have that problem with this one.Attractive: Lightweight parent unit and attractive. A good sized screen and a neutral color.Volume: Very quiet monitor (unless there is noise in the room) which is great when you need it to be quiet or are sleeping.Talk Function: There is a two-way talk function on this monitor- and I don't know of many baby monitors that have this feature. You press the talk button to speak, and release it to hear your child (if they are talking age of course). Good feature and would be very useful for monitoring older children.VOX (Voice Activation): This is a nice feature that allows you to adjust the sound sensitivity. If there is background noise (like tv), you can opt to tune that out and only hear noise when a voice makes a noise.CONS:Lightweight monitor. I want the parent unit to be lightweight (easy carrying) but not the monitor. Unless you have it on a dresser at about 4' high, the cord weighed down the camera and it would not stay upright by itself. I had to use a small snow globe to weigh it down. So, unless you plan to mount your camera, this could be a problem.Night vision: For a digital camera, the night vision on this unit was suspect at best. I had it positioned directly in front of my daughter's bed no more than 6' away and it was very grainy. There is an option to adjust the brightness but that did not help. Up close though, it was crystal clear. So again, unless you are mounting above the crib/bed, this will be an issue.Video: There didn't seem to be a way to turn off the video and just monitor the audio. I wasn't sure if I was missing something, but it wasn't in the manual either.Battery Life: The battery seemed to run out VERY quickly (within 1-2 hours) - maybe this had something to do with the fact that the video can't be turned off?SUMMARY:In search of a digital monitor, the price was right, but the features did not hold up. I ended up getting the Summer Infant Best View Handheld Color Video Monitor with 2.5" Screen and it is the best one we have had. It is a little more pricy, but it is definitely worth it. It has most of my pros (except talk function and VOX) and solved the problems of ALL of my cons.

4Video monitor
By Trini dimples
Ok so I needed a video monitor to replace an audio one I had, plus I wanted to be able to see my baby while I'm not in the room. Th monitor is good for it's price and gives me the peace of mind that I wanted. The problem everyone is talking about does exist though. It's faulty in the battery life. The other issue is the cam itself. It tips over on the stand it came with. I guess they need to make the stand more solid to support it because of the adapter running from the outlet. That's the two problems with it. I just mounted it on the wall with thumb tacks so I would have the falling issue when I put it on the dresser. Other than that it's the only I seen for a good price that has the two way communication. I can talk to my baby so she hears.PS;i returned it . the battery life is a huge issue. it has to remained plugged in to the charger, for it to stay on after like 10 minutes

2Great picture poor sound
By Mom
The picture quality day and night are great but the sound on the parent unit is so soft that I cannot hear my son crying (far less hear anything else) We now use this with our older unit that is sound only. I tried to contact the manufacturer but they never returned my emails or calls. Maybe there is something wrong with our parent unit?I really feel sound is more important than the picture so I regret buying this.

4MMMMMM GOOD
By EMMACAR
I was given this for a gift and fell in love. It even makes elbows soft! The scent if perfect for summer - just enough to turn a head, but but not overwhelming. So,I bought a second jar so I wouldn't run out and maybe even make this my year round scent.
