Well Worth the Investment!

I have been using the drill and saw for over a month and I can't be happier with my purchase. It's really come in handy around the house and yard. The saw cut through a 4 1/2" fallen branch in less than a minute and then went to town on other smaller branches around the yard for over an hour without a problem. The drill is robust, durable and perform like a champ. This is a must for any DIY'er or Professional.

Need tools, get this

My Makita and DeWalt batteries were dying and I decided to switch to the lithium batteries, which of course meant changing brands. These tools are nice, comfortable, and ergonimic. I've only used the hackzall a few times but need to get a different blade before I use it more. The drill has torque. I don't know if it's the new batteries or the drill itself but it certainly has some power behind it. I bought mine when Amazon was offering a free battery, so now I have 3 batteries and 2 tools. Guess I have to buy more tools.

Good materials, nice finish, some inperfect joints

I was very impressed by the quality of materials in this unit, given the price point it's at. The top is solid hardwood (oak by the look of it), and all pieces but the back panels are substantial (these back panels are thin, but get the job done). The veneer is high quality, and looks quite natural on the door pieces, and other areas where it's used. The hardware is high quality and feels solid.The only real complaint I have (other than insufficiently specific assembly instructions, which ended up having me assemble things backwards once or twice) is that some of the pieces don't fit together snugly, which leads to some gaps at a few joints, and some difficulty getting the entire assembly together seamlessly. Once it was totally assembled these weren't majorly noticeable, but close inspection definitely shows different sized gaps in a few places.All in all it's an amazing value at 550 dollars, with ample storage and a very nice finish. If you spend a little bit of time test-fitting all the pieces and do some work to fix up any gaps it would easily be mistaken for custom-built cabinetry.

Unbeatable

It's a screen, and it does what it does effectively. It is adequate and essential for putting that video projector from your computer on a surface that can be controlled and yet transportable. For a 50" screen, featuring a low price, and free shipping you cannot go wrong. I've used screens for 40 years, 30 of which as an audio-visual coordinator for a school system, and while this is "old-school" it is also available wherever you are and with most meeting rooms having only one light you can't turn off right over the electric ceiling screen, this portable, affordable, and transportable screen will make a meeting of up to 50 people successful if you're depending upon your PowerPoint presentation to make your "point". Keep the shipping box for transport- it protects the screen and keeps it clean.

This is Yamato's love letter to Macross fans.

Yamato certainly has come a long way in the last ten years. They started off in 2001 with their 1/72 Macross Plus variable fighters which proportions looked off, had too much die cast metal, and had questionable design elements. Their 1/60 VF-1's were okay but didn't fare much better. Nevertheless, it was a step in the right direction. They changed the game in 2003 with their awesome 1/48 VF-1 Valkyrie, it boasted a perfect transformation, felt great in the hands, and had definite shelf presence. Afterward followed the 1/60 YF-19 and YF-21 from Macross Plus in 2005 and Macross Zero 1/60 VF-0 and SV-51 in 2007. They were mostly a HUGE hit with the fans. 2008 rolled around and Yamato had another hit with their 1/60 VF-1 version two's which were basically scaled down 1/48's with more improvements. They've released literally EVERY VF-1 variant in that scale (VF-X anyone).In 2010 they gave Macross fans what they've been waiting nearly 20 years for. The iconic SUPER DIMENSIONAL FORTRESS from the 1984 movie Macross Do You Remember Love. It looks absolutely perfect in cruiser and attacker mode, insanely detailed (it'll look even better if you weather it), has a pretty easy transformation, and looks GREAT as the centerpiece of your collection. It's a bit overpriced if you go through Amazon though (but then again this has been the norm for high end Japanese figure collectors). If you do enough research you should be able to find it much cheaper. In 2011 Yamato has been focusing on the Macross 7 franchise with a superb VF-19 and at the end of this year they'll be releasing the VF-17. All eyes are on Yamato as 2012...the 30th anniversary of Macross nears. What do they have in store for us?

The Holy Grail for Sci/fi and Macross fans.

First let's talk about the annoying and or bad:If you have the older version Yamato released, becareful when taking it out of it's plastic bag. You can rip the bridge unit off, or destroy the antenna display.Second, Even though it's listed as a completed toy, you receive a series of parts listed 1-40, these parts are to be cut off their tree and placed on specific areas which they list in the instruction sheet. It's helpful if you glue these pieces with cement/model or super glue. 70% of these little parts are mainly for the ARMD Platforms.Third, While YAMATO does a great job in paint in detail of the ship, it would of been nice to of had the 01 and 02 painted or offered as stickers on the ARMD platforms. However if you look around and good with photo shop you can create your own decals for it.Finally, for the big bucks, you wish Yamato could of painted Macross City on the left leg.Now for the good!It carries fantastic detail and accuracy that makes you a big fan of Yamato's toy designs. The Transformation from Cruiser to Storm Attack modes are very simple and brilliant leaving you with great finished product. It also carries a good range of articulation and no wibbily wobbly arms in carrier mode, the ARMD units are held by locking tabs in the shoulders when the arms are tucked in a certain position, and it uses very strong magnets to keep in place.You can remove the left panel of the left leg revealing a sculpted 1/3000 scale of Macross City. And even the panel you removed has a moving part to give the viewing window armor just like in the anime.Overall, while expensive is a great product to have wether you're a SCI/FI nerd or a Macross fan. But do shop around, there are cheaper prices elsewhere.

Looks Good in our Cabin

We purchased this for some additional storage and a place to set a microwave. The product arrived undamaged and went together per the instructions. I added some glue to the base assembly and clamped it over night to make it super solid. I think the same could be done for all of the wooden dowel joints. For the space it takes up, the storage is great, and the microwave Panasonic NN-SD681S Genius "Prestige" 1.2 cuft 1200 Watt Sensor Microwave with Inverter Technology & Blue Readout, Stainless Steel fits perfectly and looks great on the stainless top. We shopped around quite a lot and this one just fit our needs.

Its a good piece

I wont say its great- but I do like it. The drawers are a bit narrow- it wont fit a typical silverware tray. Also i have large plates and they will not fit into the hutch. My issue is with packaging and shipping. They package it poorly and ship it cheap through fed ex- fed ex tends to be rough on this size of a box and my item arrived ( three boxes) with a lot of dings, scratches, and a few boards split. My husband fixed it rather than wait for replacements. I'm lucky that the issues were all with pieces that are not supportive to the structure or visible from the front.

Where do I start... I would NOT recommend paying $800 for this hutch!! It's worth $300 if that! Its disappointing after two days of putting it together and my back is killing me (it's heavy!), the finishes are terrible as well as the drawers nor the doors line up!! Need I say more...

Raincoat in a temperate rainforest

I bought this raincoat for my husband for his birthday. He likes it because it is warm but doesn't give you a clammy feeling. We get lots of rain here in Southeast Alaska and it works well doing its job as a raincoat. Its light weight, not bulky and even works well as a wind blocker when its not raining.

We ordered this jacket for our son who rides his bike to the university every day here in Oregon. He loves it! Longer tail in back, well taped seams around zipper area. Vents and handy pockets. A dry pouch was also included and has a clip to attach to the jacket. Everything the manufacturer said it is. Super fast delivery, too.

Great Product

I have a full-faced Scorpion helmet (roughly $200), and this unit fits it perfectly. I attached the speakers without using the supplied adhesives, as the velcro on the speakers works well. The communicators works very well at 100km/hr, as does the phone. I use an Iphone 3GS, and I firmly believe that the Iphone capabilities are perfect for the headset, and that not having an Iphone would take away from the experience. For example: the iphone can transmit music via bluetooth to the headseat, meaning I am listening to my iphone that is in my pocket with no cords connecting it to the headset, obviously it works for phone as well, and I can use the voice command feature for my iphone by pressing a button on the headset, which allows me to call whomever I want, or select any album or playlist on my phone. I used the voice command to call a friend while travelling at 100km/hr speeds, and it worked almost perfectly. He would not have known I was on the motorcycle.Downsides: 1)headset audio quality is effective, but lacks the low-end bass. It does not affect communication, but I am a sound quality junky and the thin speakers don't live up to my usual standards. 2)The headset buttons can be a pain in rush-hour traffic, as the left hand must be taken off the clutch/handlebars to operate it. This doesn't affect call answering/communication because these can be answered by voice, and don't require a button. 3) Beware of who you buy these units from, and read the small print. This is more of a seller point than a product point, but I was treated horribly when I stated that I didn't think the non-wired (normal) version would be less suited to my full-face helmet, and that I would prefer the wired (often used for ski-doos) version that I wrongly believed was necessary for a full face helmet. After receiving no reply to my email for weeks, I called them to see what was going on, and I was ignored and tangled in fine-print that they have burried in their website. This was all after I had purchased the unit, and they had my money; they obviously had no motivation beyond the finances... Point being, read the fine print BEFORE purchasing, and choose a company that has good reviews that INCLUDE GOOD CUSTOMER SUPPORT, so as to avoid the lengthy frustrations that I needed to deal with before actually taking my product out of the box.All things considered, this unit is amazing. It takes a couple of tries to get the mic placement right, but that is to be expected. I have installed two units on two full-faced helmets, and they were both very simple. They are also easily removed, assuming one doesn't use the optional adhesive which generally won't be needed. Refer to youtube videos for reviews for further info on product and install, and try to find user reviews not reviews by sellers of the products.

Your Best Buy in Luggage!

We bought this suitcase for a recent trip to Kauai and Ohau. It's the best decision we've ever made when it comes to luggage. I'm known as the "Luggage Queen" in our family because I have so many suitcases. They're all going away and we're replacing them with a set of Ricardo Beverly Hills Sausalito Superlite Freewheelers.You will never want another suitcase unless it has four wheels after having this one. I can push the 17" carry-on down the concourse with litterally two fingers. The featherlite weight is a dream. I've had shoulder surgery twice and it makes a world of difference when I can use the weight for my clothes and not the suitcase. No more standard weight suitcases for us - EVER! The pockets inside and out, as well as the expansion feature, are fantastic. More space than you can hardly use. I even packed a wetsuit and snorkel gear, including fins, three pairs of shoes and my clothes and ended up with room left over in this 28" bag. Most of the expansion area was empty - and I'm a woman who takes LOTS of clothes. You won't regret this purchase. Save Your Money!

If I could give it a NO stars, I would! When we received it, it had a terrible chemical odor. We contacted the company and they recommended a deodorizer spray. It had little effect. We let it sit out in the sun for several days hoping this would help. It didn't! We wadded up newspapers and placed them inside - a hint found on-line. That did not help much either. The odor was so strong that I purchased Space Saver sealed plastic bags to pack my clothes in. That helped somewhat but when we returned from a trip, many of our clothes had picked up the odor.In an apparent effort to make the suitcase lightweight, Ricardo has reduced the structural components of the suitcase so much that it collapses in transit. The collapse caused damage by the airlines which now has to be repaired.There are four poorly placed straps in the suitcase to allow you to secure your clothing from shifting. Three were properly secured to the frame of the suitcase while one was just sewed into the fabric inner liner of the suitcase. This meant that your clothing could not be secured and were left to shift in transit. What a mess!I purchased this suitcase in late April in anticipation of a June trip. I just got back from the trip and found out that my return window with Amazon expired on June 6 - two days after my trip had started. So now I am stuck with a junk suitcase that I paid $146 for that I will never be able to use!Save your money!

Great case!

Very nice case I have to say. I had been looking for a while to replace my flimpsy Apple branded case, and this is exactly what I was looking for. The leather is great quality, and inserting the iPad into the case was a breeze. If you want a good laugh, look at the directions (which were obviously incorrectly translated). Overall I am very happy this this case!Dave

Great case!

I have been using Apple's generic case since I bought my iPad last year. Although I liked how thin it was, I wasn't pleased with tiny particles that got stuck between the screen and the cover. I also wanted to have the option of removing the iPad from the case with ease at home or at office but Apple's case requires a lot of pulling and I didn't appreciate that either.I bought this case because I wanted something more stylish and something that would be more practical, such as allowing me to remove the device from the case without feeling like I'm pulling teeth. For a brief while, I considered cases that have vertical kick stands as opposed to the more prevalent horizontal, such as this. There weren't that many great options for vertical standing cases and it didn't seem very practical so I moved back to my horizontal options.I very much like the case. The leather is acceptable, not the best of leather you will find on the market but pretty nice for the price. The color's what I expected, a lighter shade of brown with a hint to orange. I'm sure it will grow a little darker with use.What I most like about this case is how it secures the iPad. Unlike most cases, there are four plastics, one on each corner, that click or clip your iPad into a secure position. Someone else commented that it's impossible to remove the iPad once the device is secured but this is absolutely not the case for me. For me, the upper left corner when using the horizontal kick stand releases the iPad with minor effort and the entire device can be removed in no time. I am a little concerned that this may loosen the grip eventually but if that does happen, I'll update my review. Because there is no layer that surround the iPad screen for securing, the screen looks larger too.I also like the fact that I can sort of control the acuity of the kick stand angle by manipulating how much the leather flap is inserted to the belt. It's a little hard to explain, but due to the friction caused by the two leather surfaces, I'm able to have the case stand in less acute angles, something in between the standing and the leaning. When in the standing position, it is also much more stable that Apple's case, with which I had several instances where the iPad fell on it's screen surface due to instability. It is, however, a little difficult to initially insert the flap into the belt and takes more time and effort because of the same friction issues. I'm hoping that this will improve with use.Long story short, I think this case is worth the money.

Yoobao IPAD cover

The IPAD cover was great it functions just like the black thin one that you can buy at the store. The leather is soft and of good quality. The only issue I had was the color was slightly more orange brown than cognac brown. The leather should get darker with time. The other issue was: it is hard to remove the IPAD from case without breaking the plastic holders after putting the IPAD in it.

Sturdy and Light

This case is both sturdy and very light weight. If you compare the weight to other 4 wheelers, you'll be hard pressed to find another that is this light. It's also surprisingly roomy, holding as much as my previous 25". My other favorite features are the spinner wheels and the separate compartment inside. Those are musts for me. Great case.

Lightweight and capable

This was given as a gift to someone who does a lot of business travel. It was a very good buy as the construction seems durable and well thought out. The four-wheel spinner makes it easy to handle, along with the lack of weight. Even loaded, it was not daunting. It was not meant to be in the carry-on category. It's for people who check everything and travel with a purse/book or reader; very nice.

Great suitcase - lightweight and durable.

After a great deal of on-line research and shopping, I bought this suitcase for a trip to Ireland. It held up very well for 2 weeks of almost daily loading and unloading onto planes and buses. It only weighs 8.7 lbs. but is durable and well constructed - especially loved the spinner wheels - you can pull it behind you or roll it upright next to you through airports and hotels. Plenty of pockets and zip compartments, and places to stash small items. I found the shoe pockets a good place to stash things you want to find easily, but stored my shoes in the bottom of the main compartment. The large outside zipper pocket held 2 jackets for easy accessiblity. It easily held everything I needed for a 2 week trip, still keeping my bag well under the max allowed by the airline. LOVE the purple paisley - easy to spot in baggage claim. A cancelled flight caused my suitcase to get to destination before I did, but the airport personnel knew exactly which one was mine on arrival. Would definitly recommend this one.
