The best adjustable dumbbells in the world

The bar weighs one pound. You can add one half pound on each end to have a two pound weight, and then go up 2 pounds at a time. The weights are rubber coated so they will not damage floors. And you can get them in some really cool colors!!

Excellent!

This is an amazing product. Gelatin is pure collagen protein, 9 grams of collagen protein per tablespoon. And the best thing is that it's hydrolyzed collagen which makes it easily digestible. When I heard that the Guiness Book of World Records for weight loss was a woman who lost over 300 pounds by taking collagen, I just had to try it. I've been taking collagen for one month and my sagging skin is noticeably firmer. This is so thrilling to me that I will be taking this for the rest of my life. I also noticed some research online that said ingesting hydrolyzed collagen will tone and tighten sagging skin, reverse wrinkles, get rid or cellulite, keep bones and cartilage strong, and easearthritis pain.I started taking a liquid collagen product but decided I could no longer afford it, so I was excited to learn that gelatin is the same thing, except you simply mix the powder in water or juice. You need at least 8 grams of collagen per serving once daily to see skin toning. The best time to take it is before bed at least two hours after eating. If you search for unflavored gelatin on amazon.com you will see one of the reviewers of another brand said she was taking it to get rid of cellulite and that it is working. I decided on this particular brand because it is not made from porcine/pigs. I like that it is kosher and made from beef bone. Just as a side note, in the olden days people always boiled bones to make broth or soup and that's how they got the needed collagen to keep their bones from getting brittle.

unexpected benefit

I started taking this to improve my diet since I read that gelatin is good for health. Happily, I have found a side benefit I didn't expect. It cured my constipation issue that I had since starting a low carb diet. Actually, I had that problem somewhat even before that. Anyway, maybe that is what people are missing when they eat low carb and have constipation.

Get out your hot glue gun!

My four year old son is crazy for pirates and he adores the detail and design of the pirate island. We have the pirate ship as well and these toys can occupy his attention for hours. When we got them, we found that they couldn't stand up to even his gentle play. With the slightest bump, the watch tower crashed down or the drawbridge broke. I finally took out the hot glue gun and glued everything in place. Ta-da! Now, he plays with it quite happily. Unfortunately, we can't fold or collapse the island for storage and it is a BIG toy. The problem here is that the pirate theme really appeals to the 4 to 7 age range, but this toy can't hold up to the play the young kids can dish out.

It's a fun toy...when it's assembled

I bought this toy from Toys R Us when they had it for half price. The pieces themselves are very sturdy, and the two towers are big enough that my two kids can play together without getting in each others way. It didn't take too long to put together.My only problem with this toy is that the pieces kind of slide into each other...but they also slide right out of each other if you know what I mean. After less than an hour of play, I find that the kids have walked away from it because it has fallen apart. You have to be careful not to jar it when playing and my kids (8&5) are not this careful. I have entertained the idea of superglue-ing it together and leaving it assembled on my son's train table but I haven't followed through on that yet. On the bright side, I have become a pro at assembling it without the instructions!

My 3 older children are ages 7,5 and 4. They can all play with this together which is amazing !! Fits with Jake, scooby doo and veggie tales pirate figures.Instructions were horrible but we got it together in less than an hour by looking at the pictures on the box (surrounded by 4 kids lol).We hot glued some parts but overall it's really sturdy and great quality.I got this on clearance at toys r us for less than $50... Well worth the price if you have room for such a big toy!!!

Great help for social anxiety and agraphobia

Over the last few years I have made a concerted effort to move away from drugs prescribed by doctors and towards over-the-counter remedies provided without prescription. For me, I have struggled with social anxiety all my life. This struggle has grown to a full blown anxiety disorder that has limited the quality of my life. Over the past year I have tried several remedies to help with my anxieties and some of you may have even read my review of Gaba Pure Powder, and read that it had some benefit, but lacked any real change for me.After reading a lot of information on the internet about the benefits of Vitamin B and Protein on the molecules in the brain that control anxieties, I decided to try this product. After taking this product for almost a month now I can happily report that this powder has had made an incredible change to the anxieties that I suffer from. Before I started taking this I panicked around people and had difficulty in situations were I was stuck on the phone for long periods of time. In general I was very uncomfortable in situations were I felt I could not escape.After taking the powder in combination with Whey Protein Isolate, I have found that the anxiety I would normally suffer from is greatly reduced and is almost a non-issue. Perhaps you may gain some benefit from this product, it is difficult to say. All I can say is that this powder has raised the quality of my life. Of course it hasn't cured me, but any movement to a normal life is a welcomed relief.The powder is finely ground like that of flower, has no taste, and no smell. It mixes very well with any liquid and has no gritty feel. I take it in the morning with my orange juice and at night with water.I hope that if you too suffer from anxiety and social panic that this product helps with your condition, I know first hand that any relief can be a huge step.Good luck.

NOW foods organic quinoa is great

I had been looking for an affordable priced quinoa since it is pretty expensive in my store. I noticed Amamzon.com had a sale on quinoa and took a chance on buying it since we had never tried it before. The NOW brand of quinoa is organic which is a HUGE plus. The grains are pretty clean already but I still rinse before using. The qunioa is great, so very healthy and cooks in around 20 minutes (even though the pacakge states 15 minutes). I will be definitly be buying this brand again from Amazon.com as it arrived in excellent condition within 5 days.If you are thinking about trying/buying quinoa, I highly recommend the NOW organic quinoa.

I love quinoa for its delicious taste, texture, and nutritional benefits. This NOW brand as sold on Amazon is a great bargain. I do a lot of research before I purchase items and feel satisfied that this is a good deal. There is no need to soak this quinoa. The bag tells you to rinse it before using, but I never have and we love the taste. Quinoa can be used in a variety of ways, but one of our favorites is to make Quinoa Pilaf, the same way you would make rice pilaf. (Simply chop onions, carrots, and celery and saute in olive oil. Then add the quinoa and substitute chicken broth for the water and cook as per directions.) Quinoa is a great substitute for rice in general. This brand provides consistent results, always cooking evenly.TIP: When I open a bag and use a bit, I store the rest in a glass mason jar to keep it fresh. That way it's easy to scoop out what you need and stores beautifully in the pantry/cabinet.

I consider myself a fanatical quinoa connoisseur, having enjoyed many varieties over several decades. NOW Foods Organic Quinoa is by far the best quinoa I have ever purchased. First, the quinoa seeds themselves are thoroughly pre-rinsed. There is no acrid flavor whatsoever. There is no impurity in this product. It is 100% quinoa. I do not know what NOW has done differently, but this quinoa cooks more evenly than any other quinoa. I mean, the seeds all cook about the same -- not mushy, not too sticky. It's about 90 cents per lb more than the cheapest quinoa, but remember that it is organic, while the other quinoa is not. I highly recommend this quinoa.

I had the predecessor to this model for years before I dropped it from a decent height. This one is functionally identical with an updated style. The stopwatch has limited resolution on the minute hand and the alarm is high pitched and a little too quiet. Other than that it looks and works great.

My husband and I love eating these ginger slices right out of the bag, which is a self-sealing zip type plastic bag. Ginger is very good for the digestion, so it is a great natural dessert. It can also be used for baking or for adding an extra bit of flavor to a smoothie.The ingredients couldn't be simpler. Here is how they are listed on the package: Ginger (Zingiber officinale) Root, Evaporated Cane Juice and Cane Sugar. This product contains no added sulfur, however, naturally occurring sulfites may be present.When the ginger has all been consumed, I save the natural sugar left in the bag and use it for baking. Ginger-flavored sugar tastes particularly good with pineapple and mango smoothies.Warning: This this is not a low-calorie food: A serving is 40 grams, which is about 1/4 cup. It is 130 calories, about the same calories as dried fruit.Note also that this product is not inexpensive. The cheapest I've ever seen it is about $5.30 for a 12-ounce bag.

Doesn't work

The combination lock didn't work.I followed the instructions, then searched for more instructions on line.Then tried to call the mfr to find option and there is no phone number to contact them.You are asked to send them an email requesting support.I sent the email and never got a reply.Buy this product only if you want a product that doesn't work correctly.

Works like a champ

The iPad holder works just like it should. We use squareup in our store for processing credit card payments. So we have the iPad mounted in this and whoever is working the register is able to adjust it to have a good viewing angle for their height. We did mount it on a plate that is able to spin on out counter so we can spin the iPad around to have the person sign. Also the headphone port that the squareup dongle needs to work is exposed far enough for the dongle to plug in without any problems.On a side note while the iPad is very secure in this device (with the exception that the screws that hold the part the iPad actually sits in to the arm are point out so if you had time and a screw driver you could make off with it.) the locking mechanism is a little bulky and ugly.

Get this set, dont get it from Amazon

About the Set itself:Not since the Ferrari Enzo 8653 and Ferrari Fiorano 8145 has there been a set as detailed and sophisticated as this, the Supercar 8070. Unlike the previous two, the Supercar is branded as a Technic, not a Ferrari, and this one is motorized. The motor does not move the car, instead it moves the front hood, right and left doors (independently), and extends and retracts the rear spoiler. All this is done with a pretty neat shift knob in the passenger compartment. If you missed your chance to get the previous sets, the Supercar not only continues, but improves on the previous sets.About the Amazon listing:Just to reaffirm the previous reviews, buying the Supercar is a rip off from Amazon, even if you consider all of the benefits of buying from Amazon. If you buy from Lego.com, you will have to pay for shipping and taxes. Now, Lego occasionally have free shipping promotions on big orders around 75 to 100 dollar purchases, so you only have to pay for taxes during those periods. As for Amazon, you can't buy directly from Amazon; this is where the problem comes in. If you want free shipping, you have to buy from "Fulfilled by Amazon" merchants, who sell the sets around 150 dollars, 30 dollars more than the MSRP, and if you're unlucky, taxes on top of that. If you buy from the cheapest merchant, you will have to pay for taxes and shipping, which will hover around the 150 dollar mark anyways. So the best solution would be to be patient and wait for Lego to have one of their free shipping promotions to get this set.

false list price

The actual list price is $120. The use of a list price of $300 is completely misleading. Rather than the claimed discount of >%40. There is an actual mark up of >$40. I have told AMAZON about this repeatedly but the false list price persists on their website. Disappointing. Just buy it from LEGO.

Gets these thieves off Amazon

This is a $120 set available directly from Lego and authorised Lego dealers. Don't encourage these thieves who are just trying to exploit ill-informed customers. I am amazed Amazon still allows these crooks to exploit their web-site.It is easy to cure; make the sellers display the list price and let the customer choose. But the sellers would not agree to this would they. This clearly shows Amazon is only concerned about short term profits and does not care about its customers.

a miracle remedy for your great health

This Chinese herb extract called "Chuan Xin Lian=CXL" has been used for treatment of a variety of diseases such as flu, malaria, AIDS, bowel ulcer, cancers, inflammatory diseases such as asthma and arthritis. These diseases are among PAK-dependent diseases. PAK is an oncogenic enzyme/kinase which shortens our lifespan by causing a variety of diseases including AD (Alzheimer's diseases) and NF (neurofibromatosis).In the past, these PAK-dependent diseases have been effectively treated by propolis, a bee product, which blocks PAK. Although propolis is relatively inexpensive, suitable for a life-long treatment of AD as well as NF which causes brain tumors even in childhood, recent study has revealed that CXL also blocks PAK, and CXL in capsules is available far less expensively on-line sale than propolis. So I would highly recommend AD and NF patients to take this herb extract in capsules. Daily cost is only 30-40 cents for average adult persons (weighing around 60 kg).
