Classy looking, good quality leather doc envelope

After trying many systems to handle a few essential paper files that I need to carry with me during the workday, I settled on some pocketed file folders. This worked well; but then I needed something to hold those folders in. I looked fairly extensively for a document wallet, but I found nothing that (a) would hold slightly-larger-than-8.5"x11" folders, and (b) looked nice / classy. After much searching, I ran across this little gem.I'm very happy with my purchase. The document envelope is large enough to fit 8.5"x11" papers/folders with comfortable room to spare - maybe 0.5"-1" on each side extra. The closure mechanism (magnetic button) works very well, and I never have to hassle with it to close. It is also lined beautifully on the inside. The envelope is pure leather, and doesn't have much rigid material supporting, so I am careful that it doesn't get bent up in my bag.I deduct one star because of the relatively high price of this document envelope. For reference, I purchased a smilarly-colored leather folio from Amazon that was ~$120. However, that folio was far more full-featured than this document envelope. For what you get with this doc envelope, I would think $50 or $60 is a fair price. That said, if you don't want something that's a cheap plastic, and you prefer a nice leather - you may wind up paying this much.Please let me know if you have any questions.Jon

Simple to install network/web interface to your DSC alram system

Installing this requires basic electric/electronic skills. The installation was pretty simple, I took it out the box, placed the plastic pegs on to it, snapped it in place on the motherboard for the DSC security system. Connected the same 4 wires that connected to my telephone interface. Turned the power back and with minutes was browsing the web interface that can give you updates on your browser.I also download a DSC security app on to my iPhone, which interfaces to this card as well. This allows me to see which doors/windows are open before I leave home. You can also arm/disarm froim the app.I have also configured my Linksys router to accept incoming requests so using this I can monitor my DSC alarm system from anywhere.I highly recommended this card if you are interested in remote monitoring of your home alarm system!

Very Quiet Replacement

I bought this motor for my father to replace the old one that died. The motor is very quiet compared to the last one, I wasn't sure if it was on when I came over the next weekend. Make sure you buy a new shaft seal when you do replace it or you risk a leaky motor!

This is not 100% frankincense. This is 20% mixed with a carrier oil, which was not what I thought I was ordering. I did contact the seller and I will use it, but disappointed in the description, and I had even blown up the label on my iPad trying to be sure I was ordering the correct version. Great price even as a mix, but not what I wanted to purchase.

It has help my son who as autism

I wanted a sleeve that would fit over that and not be big or bulky. This is neither.The iPad and cover fit easily inside and zips closed nicey. Great for gelling

I do freezer jams using agar to set them instead of pectin because it costs a lot less, and we go through a lot of jam in our household. Using agar to set the jellies means that I can use a lot less sugar and get something like a fruit spread.This is a reliable product, just be careful not to get any water in the jar, measure out what you need, then seal it back up. If you're making a recipe you usually use gelatin with, use less agar, start with half the amount called for, then increase as necessary. Agar gels up very firmly if you're not working with high acidic fruits and it's pretty stable once it's gelled even at room temperature.Recipes for kanten call for agar frequently, and agar makes a good vegan substitute for gelatin, but it's not as nutritious as gelatin. It is a decent source of dietary fiber though.I still use gelatin for some recipes, and agar for others. Agar doesn't have the faint smell that gelatin has so for a lot of desserts, it is preferable. For a good dessert book that uses agar as an ingredient, I suggest Q&E Chilled Desserts from the Japanese Kitchen (Quick and Easy Series).

easy to use agar

It works as well as agar in bar form and the price is good. I do however recommend you use half the recommended amount, so more like 1 tablespoon to 1 pint of liquid versus 2 tablespoons, but you might have to experiment and it will depend on the liquid. But 2 tablespoons I find will make it too stiff.

I love that watch

That watch is very elegant. I love it. It is not too big on my hand as I feared it will be. Also its diameter is not 49 mm as written in the amazon description. It is 39 mm. The gold tone is perfect and shinny but not the shine which is bad. I love its look on my hand as I also was in need for a gold tone watch. I do recommend.

I was looking for a malted milk powder like the Horlick's that I remembered as a child. The NOW brand tastes EXACTLY the same as I remember the Horlick's Malted Milk Tablets tasting. This malted milk dissolves easily in a little cold milk with a bit of whisking. I have enjoyed it in milk, malts and I'll admit, eating it dry right from the spoon, it tastes just the same those yummy tablets! I chose this malted milk on Amazon because it is considerably less expensive than Horlick's and I won't look any further!

Love it!!

I really researched compost buckets before purchasing. Most of the reviews for other, less expensive buckets similar in design to this Simplehuman one complained that the outside got rusty. I've had mine for months and I love it. It's never gotten rusty, it's very sturdy, and I've not yet had to replace the filter. The filter got pretty dirty from my overfilling the bucket, so I do plan to replace it today (only because it got dirty, though, not because it stopped working). Odor from the bucket has never been an issue either.My one teeny tiny complaint is that fruit flies can fit through the holes around the top where the filter goes. Because of this, I have gotten a mild (like maybe 3 flies at the most) fruit fly infestation when the weather has been warm. During the summer months, I will consider keeping my bucket in the fridge instead of on the counter if the fly issue gets to be a problem. Other than that, I love this bucket and will purchase it again if anything ever happens to mine.

The 3 series of compost pails

Compost pails don't come more finely designed, engineered and constructed than this one. Of course it isn't inexpensive, but if you intend to keep your compost pail on the kitchen counter and to keep it in use day after day for years, what's sixty bucks out of your sweet young life?This "pail" is made of heavy gauge, satin finish stainless steel. It has serious heft and just feels well made. It has a Danish modern look to it with its clean lines, the bamboo handle on the "bail" of the bucket and flat bamboo and steel knob on the removable top. The hook on the side of the top allows you to hang it from the side of the pail rather than lay it flat on the counter. The charcoal filter inserts for the top, along with the vents along the black seam around the circumference of the top, provide good odor control. Easy to clean - although you may want to hit the outside of the pail with some stainless appliance cream and a microfiber cloth now and then to keep it looking neat and tidy as new.If you have a modern looking kitchen and want to keep a compost pail on the counter near your sink and cutting board, this is the one. After quite some time spent searching, I think I can safely say this is the ONLY one. The Ultimate Composting Machine.

Great optic

There may be brighter "Dot sights" out there but there is no competition when it comes to reliability, convenience, ease of use, or ruggedness. The unit has no wiring, no battery, no focus knobs, no dials, no switches. This is literally a point and shoot deal. The dot is very bright in the dark and bright enough to be seen easily in the light. It works particularly well when "Co-Witnessed" with your front sight, that makes the dot easier to locate. If you have ever worried about running out of batteries or not being able to find the ON switch this is the sight for you.

where has this been for the past 5 years?

Best drinking bowls ever-no more towels and mats on the floor or garage floor to mop up the water. I should have gotten the leg extensions (have boxers) but so far it is elevated enough. Absolutely works-even my husband is a fan. Wish they would make an XL version with deeper bowls to hold more water but am so happy to have this-it has made life definitely easier and dryer! Definitely recommend if you are tired of wet socks and damaged floors.

St. Bernard tested, human approved

This feeder works very well. My 14 month old Saint Bernard is a very sloppy drinker (but a very thorough eater) and the Neater Feeder has worked great for him. I empty the base and clean the whole thing about once a week (the water down below can get pretty murky). Every time I empty it out I appreciate that all that water in the catchment base, about two bowls worth, would otherwise be on the floor. Two bowls worth of water in the base sounds like a lot, but he drinks between five and six bowls a day. At close to seventy dollars after shipping it was more money than I was looking to spend on a dog feeder, but in retrospect I'd do it again in a heartbeat to keep the mess off the floor. The non-skid rubber feet on the bottom come out pretty easily and one is missing already, but that is easily fixed and the feeder is by far the closest to what I was looking for. I did buy the extension legs and they snap in securely. Considering the alternatives, it has been a very worthwhile purchase.

Answer To My Prayers!

I have a Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff) probably one of the messiest eaters out there! The Neater Feeder was the answer to my prayers! After many frustrating moments of stepping in slimy dog water or soggy wet food I decided it was time to give this product a shot. I LOVE it! Although it cannot prevent my dog from turning her head while eating and pieces landing on the floor it certainly cuts the mess by 95%. The water containment is amazing! I haven't stepped in dog water since we got it! I highly recommend this product for those with sloppy dogs. It is also much neater and safer if you have little ones in your home.
