cheap and doesn't cost a lot

This is my second jewelry purchase from amazon, and, like the first, the picture was a little misleading - the item is significantly smaller than it's appearance - and the item is cheaply made. It arrived in a cheap, generic box, with a cheap, fuzzy cleaning cloth. The earrings did not appear to be cleaned prior to leaving the factory.My feeling is that these are a mass produced item that Amazon buys in bulk and brands them as their product. The stones themselves look fine (they are black, after all), but the metal work simply looks imperfect. At sale price (50 dollars), I didn't feel "ripped off", however, it was more of a sense of "you get what you pay for". I cannot imagine the regular price of 250 or the current amount of 175. I would have returned them at this price.The back of one earring broke in half after a week's wear, and was easily replaced but gives some indication of the durability of the metal used.

Just what I wanted

These are beautiful. Excellent deal for $49 bucks.They are just the right size for my intended purpose. I bought these earrings for a second piercing in one ear to be worn all the time.I dress fairly conservatively for work and I did not want too much bling which is why I chose the black diamond instead of a white diamond. I have a caramel skin tone and dark hair so the earring while beautiful does not drawn too much attention to my second piercing.My only worry is the 10k gold. My ears tend to be sensitive to cheap mental and I generally only buy 14k as cheap metals leave my ears infected, but I've never tried 10k gold and I hope it's o.k.. If not, I'll edit in a week or so to give an update.Also product was clean and came in a nice box.

Tiny, but pretty.

These are tiny earrings. I haven't had the problems the other reviewer did. They arrived clean, in a nice jewelry box, and I've worn them non stop for a week with no worries. I wanted tiny earrings so that I could wear them all the time.When I bought these they were only $60 on sale. They do have small variations if you hold them up to a bright light and look through them, something that is unlikely to happen while they are on your ears. I recieved mine in December 2010, and now it is May 2012. I still wear them daily, I haven't had any breakage, and only had one come out once while towling my hair.
