Excellent product

The only thing that you will need to do is get pots and pans that have a steel bottom or use cast iron. I just happen to have both. I have not stopped using it. I make a lot of candy and the temperature control helps keep the perfect temp through out the cooking process. I would and have recommended this product to friends

So far so good! I have purchased two of these units which were either returns or display units, for short term guests staying in suites with limited cooking facilities, so they have not been heavily used...The oldest unit is over a year old and I have received absolutely no complaints about it. The second unit is about a month old but the guest (who likes to cook) has been using it regularly and has been delighted with it. To my mind induction cook tops are so much safer than the alternative since they transfer heat only to the pot or pan and cool immediately when the pot or pan is removed, that they are the way to go. Also, when I tested this model I was impressed with how quickly it boiled water and that it can be heated to the highest setting on BOTH sides at once...I also think that this two burner unit is quite aesthetically stylish...I am resolved to follow-up if need be with subsequent "bad news", so far it is two thumbs up!

I've had mine for about 3 years now. Still works great. I almost never use my old stove, because this cooks so much faster and doesn't heat up the kitchen. Will definitely purchase another one if this one ever dies.
