By Duane Ahrens
I have pulled trailers for almost 30 years and have tried 3 different hitches and the Rivco is the best hitch I have ever used. Here are the things I look for in a hitch.1. How does it attach to the bike? This is the most important factor when buying a hitch. If it doesnt attach to the bike frame in some fashion you will end up getting pulled around by trailer. Also not being attached to the frame will cause any weak welds to break. Attaching to the fenders alone is not enough.2. Removable/hidden ball. This is more of a nicety than a necessity but it makes for a cleaner look when I dont want to pull a trailer. Now Rivco is not the easiest ball to remove but you can take it off with a little work.3. Made in America.Overall this is the best hitch out there for my money.
