Great product. Outclasses all other solars lights.,

Well apparently there are 2 versions (NE1101-28 VS NE1102-08W) vs of this Cantebury light. I am not sure which I purchased, but I imagine they are both bright. Both versions claim to cast light to 3ft and mine definately lives up to that.Heavy duty light, with realistic pathway lighting vs. creepy previous generations of led solar. The glass construction and metal housing says this is built to last. They do say that it only lasts six hours, but that is plenty, and further gives the appearance that they are electric (and you've "gone to bed"). They are quite bright for solar, much more so than the older generations of solar. I have had these for a month and am very satisfied. I will be getting another set or five.Easy access to battery. Battery is Double A rechargable, should last a long time, too.

Expensive but better

These solar yard lights cost more than most(including other Westinghouse models) and there is a reason. The construction includes real metal and glass, there are five photo cells (not one), the LED operates at a higher voltage and has more power. These are bright enough to light a foot path for decent night safety. Many solar lights are just for accent, these actually illuminate. Be aware that the battery (which is replaceable)is not a standard AA size or voltage. When it's time to replace it (by the way, it's lithium, not a cheap Ni-Cad), you'll probably need to shop online for it. If you want something better in a solar light, try these.

I have 10 of these lights now, across the front of my house. They look like normal, wired landscape lighting. I have been wishing for solar lights of this quality for years, and owned several disappointments.I received the first two as a gift, bought more at WalMart, and now that they don't carry them any more, several here at Amazon. The older ones are two years old and show no sign of weakening. I can't tell them apart.In a power outage - I actually went outside and brought a few of them in to light the house.It's a great product.
