Firm Secure Mound For Your Bung

The Open Center is GREAT at preventing potholes in the road from slamming into your tailbone.It comes with a Velcro system to secure the front of the seat to the motorcycle, but I pulled mine off as the glue on the Velcro got soft and slipped around in the summer heat. The seat does not seem to need any fastener up front, though.When it rains, water collects in the Open Center and will wet you when you return to your bike. Now you know.Unlike the Corbin, this seat does not lock down! So, if you park your motorcycle outside an apartment complex or where many other XR1200 motorcycles exist (???), you might want to think strongly about getting this as it can walk off very easily.I lucked into one of these, lightly used, on eBay for about half this price. I wonder, sometimes, if mine was originally lifted off of someone else's.

Fits well. Very comfortable. Great looks. Good quality. Reasonable price. Notice: extra importtax for Europe (50 Euro for the Netherlands)
