Power cord is black, 10-foot, 3 conductor SJT type. The blade, guard and mounts are powder coated steel. Super Fan

I bought this fan from Sams Club the other day. The one I purchased was the 42" I was searching for a nice fan for my garage when I came across this. They had it for $229.00. It works great and roll it out in to my drive way and point it the garage form about 10-15 feet away. I believe on high it puts out 11,500 CFM. I get a nice breeze, but nothing strong enough to knock anything over. It is easy to transport around and I look forward to using it on my patio. I live on the gulf coast and we have some brutal summers. Hopefully this helps out.

Nice fan but . . .

I had to sequentially return two of these fans due to shipping damage. I don't think it was the fault of UPS, but rather that the fans are so poorly packed from the factory. The fans are too heavy for the single ply cardboard cartons they were shipped in. Either that, or the sheet metal gauge is too light. The fans themselves were nice and quiet. I just didn't feel I should have to put up with the mashed up sheet metal when they arrived. Fortunately, Amazon took them back without a quibble.
