The body, cut from high-grade mahogany, comes loaded with USA made EMG-81/EMG-85 pickups. The set mahogany neck is shaped to Dean Zelinsky’s signature profile known for it’s extreme comfort and speed. The Venom GWTC produces a biting, thick, clearly defined tone making it a suitable choice for Metal & Hard Rock. The Venom GWTC is finished with the aggressive “Watchers” graphic and equipped with a Floyd Rose Original locking bridge. I got this for a great price and it is totally worth it. The fretboard is slick and lightening fast. The EMG 81/85 combo provide plenty of power and the paint job is really solid. The guitar is well balanced but a bit hard to get used to playing while sitting down. Not sure if it is worth $1,089 but after owning several different brands this is currently my favorite guitar.
