Gransfors Bruks premium Large Gutter Swedish Adze features a hand forged axe-style head with a nicely drooped blade for easy, efficient cutting. Grasp its 25" hickory axe handle near the end for use with an erect stance and a heavy swing, or hold it just as comfortably 4" to 6" from the end for a compact, fully controlled swing with your elbows braced against your knees. The blade is 3" wide, deeply swept and slightly flattened at the bottom for clean, smooth shaping. Includes leather sheath with snap closure. Head weight 2 lbs. Small Gutter Adze: Weight including handle 2Ibs, 9.5" long hickory handle, head length approx 6 3/4".

Gransfors Bruks, always the right tool

I purchased on the auction site that starts with E and rhymes with day. A wonderful tool, like everything made by GB. There really is no going wrong with their stuff unless you simply are doing the wrong job for the tool in your hand (this isn't a screw driver).Wonderful tool.
