Managing Stress

A number of supplements have a calming effect. L-Theanine by Life Extension is by far the best one I have tried. It relaxes me and lets me go about my business without that edgy feeling. Helps me put things into perspective and live the phrase "Don't sweat the small stuff...and it's all small stuff" - thank you Richard Carlson. It can help you calm down when you are agitated without putting you to sleep. I find it helps me quiet down at the end of the day and makes it easier to get to sleep. It will not knock you out; just rather mellow you out a bit. It does not leave me feeling drowsy in the morning. Though I only use it occasionally, I always make sure I have some in the house and some in my purse.
