Feminine day or night

4 stars only because it does not have any esoteric unique notes that I love nor the nostalgia of my favorite scents, but otherwise it is a clean, flowery perfume that would improve upon stale air wherever a feminine fragrance is desired instead. Found this last year at Neiman Marcus after no luck finding some of my old favorites on my mind that day that seem to have been discontinued. It's light with lily of the valley and perhaps slightly citrus. I spray it in my car and home and whenever upon first entering a public restroom that needs to be restored to a tolerable climate again. Many appreciative comments from ladies waiting in line. Over $200 seems expensive at first, but it's actually 6-7 times the volume of many great fragrances that sell for $80-150. Francis Kurkdjian says "A good perfume is one where you can't tell if someone is wearing something or not - when the scent and the person become one." I would agree, and this one is such a kind of scent. But it also should remind you of a lovely moment spent in the lady's company. Just a whisp of a memory, never aggressive. That's this fragrance but not at first spray out of the bottle. It takes several minutes to an hour on the skin to create a wonderful experience that you want to repeat hoping she'll wear it again.
