Lived up to Expectations...and then went beyond

Purchasing gems, especially at a price point like this is definitely a cause for worry and no small amount of uncertainty seeing as you are making a sizable purchase sight-unseen. I've purchased gems and jewelry before on the internet, through reputable firms, and have been disappointed with the size and quality on several occasions.I can honestly say there was a huge sigh of relief when I opened the box, examined the ring, held it in natural light, got out the magnify glass, and engaged in all other sorts of obsessive behavior looking for something that would justify my apprehension. The sigh of relief when I found nothing could probably be heard at my neighbors house. Then, I just sat back and enjoyed the beauty and quality of the ring and knew that my wife would love it.This ring was a gift for her 40th birthday. I wanted something timeless, beautiful, of high quality, and something she would love for years to come. It met all that and more. She loved it, and she has high standards regarding jewelry (which is why she owns very little).Shipping was prompt and triple packaged (if not more) to protect it. My one question back to the customer service department regarding appraisal value was answered promptly, professionally, and completely. You can tell from the materials they send with the ring, the quality of the ring itself, and the tone of interaction; this company cares about offering a quality product and cares about the customers they serve.Couldn't be happier.
