4Solid, Comfortable, Beautiful Watch
By Misty Baker
I am not a watch wearer, never have been, and I have a very distinct reason why. I work in an industry that is tough on delicate items. My husband however is a watch addict, an Invicta addict if I'm going to be perfectly honest, and for years he has been begging me to just give one of them a try. "They are great Misty!" he would say, "Just pick one out and give it a try!." So when I ran across this Angel Collection Invicta, which looked like it could handle my rough handling and my overall neglect for general "watch care," I decided to give it a try.I have to say, I was impressed. (Which, for the record made my husband very happy and a tad know-it-all-ish)First, let me tell you about the positives.1. It has a Polyurethane band which allows for some stretch on my guy sized wrist. (I am not a dainty girl)2. The size of the face is large enough to make a statement, but not so large that it looks like you are wearing a wall clock on your arm.3. It has a flame-fusion crystal. What does this mean exactly? It means I can bang it around without much concern of it getting scratched or shattering into a gazillion pieces just because I'm a total klutz.4. The "rose-gold" isn't bright pink, which happens more often than not, (and if you are looking at the picture it comes across as.) It's more of a copper color which (If I do say so myself) is actually quite pretty.5. It is water resistant incase I forget myself and wash my kids hair with it still on.6. The face is very clean, despite the multiple dials, it is easy to read and functional without have to strain your eyes to figure out what is going on.7. And... this is the most important... it is comfortable. Now, the negatives. Well, 1 negative anyways. It is a total pain in the arse to set. Even though Invicta was nice enough to send high-lighted instructions (indicating which style I actually owned) the overall process of setting it was time consuming. (The day function specifically) In order to set the "day" you had to rotate the CLOCK for a 24 hour period. For example, the watch comes (already adjusted) to Monday. If it is Friday you have to spin the clock through a 24 hour day 4 times. That is a lot of spinning!Overall all however, great watch. Great price. Tough enough for someone (like me) who is rough on jewelry, but pretty and sophisticated enough for someone much more girly than myself.

5Beautiful watch but make sure you know what you are purchasing
By barry
This watch is truly lovely and Invicta goes all out packaging it beautifully in a white gift box. Inside there are indepth directions on how to use the watch and warranty info. And secured firmly in the box in all its glory is the lovely watch. This watch is an expensive piece of jewelry available at a great price here on Amazon. Much about the watch can be misleading though. Calling it the Angel Collection and having it be Rose Gold-Plated can make the buyer believe they are getting a delicate woman's timepiece perfect for all day wear particularly evening. But please note that in the title it also says Black polyurethane watch and be sure to note the size of the watch in the item description. There is much to praise about this watch but one can easily miss on how bulky it is. This is a lovely watch in a sturdy, heavy size. It is better suited for a woman to use with daily use. It is also fine for casual evening wear but does not fit as a timepiece for ultra elegant evening activities. But if you are fine with the size this watch just can't be beat. The black link style polyurethane band is very durable, comfortable and attractive with a very sturdy buckle. The rose gold plated outer trim and tone hands are very classy and blend in perfectly with the black . The watch has japanese quartz movement and is water resistant. It is extremely user friendly and certainly is lovely. As long as you are aware of its bulky size and acknowledge that it is more of a sporty watch you will be thrilled with this timepiece. If you collect watches or just like an elegant style this watch is a perfect match for you or a perfect gift for a special lady. This is indeed a sporty watch that comes with lots of beauty and class.

2Prettty but not as functional as I would expect
By D. Krepak
I have a large collection of Invicta watches. Most of them men's as I like a larger size watch. I have some of their diver watches, lupahs and several other models. Some of them are chronographs, some automatic, some manual. I have a baby lupah which is meant for a woman. When I saw this was available through Vine membership I thought I would check this out.The face is white with rose gold numbers and hands. The dials on the face are silver with rose gold surrounding them. The dials have rose gold hands as well. The dials are so shiny it is difficult to make out where the hands on the dials are. The writing on the dials is in black but is so small I'm not able to read them without using some sort of magnifier. So the dials would be useless for me to use and I would just have to use it for time. In my profession I need a sweep 2nd hand which is included in the bottom dial, which for me as stated above is unreadable without magnification. The black bezel it almost impossible to turn even when using 2 hands and not wearing it. So this isn't usable either. The case is a matted rose gold finish which is a nice pastel rose color as opposed to a more coppery color some companies may use for rose gold. It is 1 and 3/8 inches in diameter not including the crown. The buckle is a polished finish rose gold color with the invicta logo. The bracelet has a very soft velvety feel which I like. I wear a 6 and 1/2 to size 7 bracelet and there are enough holes on the bracelet that I don't have to make my own to fit properly. You get the invicta booklet as well as printed instructions for setting the time and dials on this model and others in it's group. The model is highlighted on my paper in yellow. The directions are easy to follow. I had to use a magnifier to set the dials properly. To set the date, you pull out the crown to the first click and turn it counter-clockwise. To set the day of the week you have to continually the time until you hit the day of the week. Oddly enough the day of the week didn't change on my watch till I got to 2:30. I'm not sure why.The watch comes in a wooden box with a protective covering for the face which is easily removable, no tape is used so there isn't any adhesive to clean off. The wooden box is covered by a light cardboard box. The presentation is very nice as a present.Luckily I haven't experienced these types of negative issues in the invicta watches I have purchased. Overall, I wouldn't buy this watch or recommend it to a friend. I plan on wearing my other invicta watches.
