Low Quality!

I bought this watch as a birthday present for my girlfriend when Amazon had it as a deal of the day. Looks great, and my girlfriend was so happy with it in the beginning.Two months later, the second-hand ticker started freezing. Then the day-of-the-week dial also dropped off completely. After contacting the manufacturer, Stuhrling, we found out that there is a $20 shipping and handling charge to get it fixed, even though the watch is under Stuhrling's warranty. This doesn't include what we have to pay to get the watch shipped to Stuhrling's facility.Also, the customer service associate told us over the phone that it was rare for this sort of defect but as we have had the watch for a whole four months they could not waive the fee. Four months? Really?! I dont know what she was thinking... I have purchased watches in the past that have lasted me five years without any issues. Four months to me seems like a small fraction of the lifetime of a watch, but thats just my opinion. We now ponder if we should pay the $20 + the shipping cost to send it to Stuhrling and risk having it fall apart again in the next four months.I am very disappointed in the quality of this product and in Stuhrling's customer service. I am appalled that Amazon, a retailer I trust, would even feature this product on their deal of the day.

Beautiful Watch

I received this watch two weeks ago from my boyfriend and it's absolutely beautiful. It's slightly heavier than what I normally wear but I still love it. The only reason that I'm giving it a three-star review is that two of the diamonds have already fallen out and I only wear the watch to work. I work at a desk so it's not like I'm doing something rigorous. And of course, the warranty doesn't cover loose crystals so my watch will just be without them until I need to replace the watch.Still a beautiful watch but beware that the crystals will fall out.
