Black Rapid changed the way I shoot.

I waited to post a review until I had a chance to put the black rapid through the paces in real world use. I shoot events and wedding and other fast paced jobs and this strap is changing the way I shoot and move on the job. On one side I'm shooting a Canon 5Dmk2 with the 35L 1.4. On the other a 7D with either the 70-200 2.8 or the 85L 1.2. With the Black Rapid double strap system I am bouncing between wide shots on my FF camera to tele shots on the crop body. I've used top loading sling bags in the past. (Can you say cumbersome) I ditched those and moved to a modular belt. (Also highly recommended) Shooting two cameras with the belt is 10x faster than the sling bag. Shooting with the Black Rapid is 10x faster than the belt. Both or my cameras are simply right where I need them all the time. I still use the belt but have pulled most of the bags off it. I use it if I know I'm going to need more cards/lens/light. But 90% of what I'm needing is strapped to that Black Rapid. Worth every cent.

Great product - reseller is terrible

This product is unbelievable. I have a Nikon D700 and D300 and at time carry them both with the OEM strap and a 70-200 AF-s VR f/2.8 lens and a 24-70 AF-s F/2.8 lens (heavy stuff). After an hour or so my back and neck hurt. With this strap I can go all day as the weight is on my shoulders and back not my neck. What a great product. Only bad part was the vendor Amazon used. They sent the wrong item the first time, blamed Amazon, and caused me grief. Would not send me out the plates they forgot, finally I had to send the item back and reorder. Definitely not the way to do business.

Came with wrong parts

This will be our third DR-1 strap from Black Rapid. The strap is great! However, the Fastenr system that was included is NOT what was pictured and is NOT compatible with the quick release plates.
