5Better than you'd think
By R. Byrd
I've bought "Squire" instruments in the past and they seemed somewhat "cheap" but okay. This one however is a step up. Perhaps it's the Duncan Designed pickups but I love the sound and feel a lot. I also purchased (not on amazon) an Ampeg BA115 and the two are whatever you need it to be. Smooth or a little grungy. The stacked vol/tone knobs are pretty sweet as well and allow for an almost endless combination. As for the looks?? Well it doesn't look like your typical cookie cutter Squire huh? It looks much better in person than the pics. Glad I bought it and I think I'll keep this one for a long time.

5Typically a Squier hater...
By Kyle Wayne Benson
I'm a bit of an all American, Fender, purist. In my desperation for appearance, I thought I'd give it a go. I love it.The action is a bit high, but that's my only complaint. I absolutely love the balance, tone, and feel of this bass.

5lots of bang for your buck
By connor
I have been playing bass and gigging for 8 years and have always played fender basses. That said, this squire blew me away. It plays like an american fender and sounds pretty good as well. For three hundred bucks you will not find a better bass. I love the feel of the unfinished jazz neck. It's smooth, thin, and fast. The bass is also very light, making it ideal for long sessions of playing. In short, this would be a great bass for a beginner or a professional.
