very disappointing

the surface of this mattress is made with the same fabric they use to make office chairs - very rough, plastic mesh. It gave me an instant skin burn when I rubbed my hand on it. To have a baby to sleep on it with a face down would be simply inhumane. To add a soft sheet eliminates the whole purpose. There is no way to see any of this on the product pictures or in the description. For something that costs $500+ with the base it is very disappointing..:(

Machine Washable - No crib sheets needed!

Good quality, easy installation into our Harper crib from Giggle. Mattress is machine washable and is not made with offensive chemicals as with other regular baby mattresses. Very happy with the quality. Bought it 2 for 1 from the manufacturer - sometimes they offer specials.

Great investment

This is a great product. I feel at ease knowing my son can sleep on his face and still get good airflow. He started rolling about a month ago and loves to change positions frequently during the night. Now my wife and I don't have to get up to check on him every time he changes positions. It seems pricey, but its worth every penny.
