Great Kit!

First off, the Carver One marker is fantastic! It is solid, durable, accurate, and reliable. It is basically the same internals as the 98 Custom, but in a smaller frame. The upside to that is you get all of the great gameplay that a 98 Custom gives you in a slightly shorter more maneuverable package. The barrel is the same length so you are not losing any accuracy either. The downside to the marker, compared with the 98, is that it doesn't have quite the ability to upgrade that the 98 Custom has. Another small issue is the porting on the barrel does not make cleanup easy if you get hit in the marker. I got hit across the side of the marker and the paint took some effort to get out. Not something you can do on the fly.This kit also comes with a vertical front grip. I put it on (I love how many rails this thing has) but decided I liked the built in front grip more and went without it.Next, the mask that comes in this kit is great. Better than the mask that comes in the other(Tippmann US Army Carver One Paintball Kit (Includes mask Tank, Loader and 4+1)) kit. It is a Tippmann mask, and is comfortable and has GREAT anti-fog. I bought this pack and a friend bought the other kit and I had perfect vision with no problems, but his would fog up after he ran a bit.The only issue I had with this kit is the hopper. Overall the hopper is fine, but it does not latch solidly and sprung open on me once while I was running for cover. A piece of electrical tape would probably prevent that but this is the one part of the kit I would upgrade.My first day out with this kit, I had a great time. No malfunctions, no chopped balls, no fogging, just fun. I was able to pick off opponents at a good distance with a good rate of fire.I highly recommend this kit!

Bought this for my hubby and he absolutely loves it! He goes paint balling with his friends every weekend. He hasn't needed to fix anything on it yet either.

Last winter I purchased this for a friend of mine who was just getting started in paintballing. I wasn't sure about it at first because of the price but I was amazed on the performance that it showed in the field. He did purchase a longer barrel for the gun and now that he's got the barrel he is starting to win! Great gun for the price and plenty of upgrades that you can get at a later date. This would be a gun to get if you are on a budget and still want to have options.
