Neater Feeder is the world's first pet feeding system for dogs and cats that contains spills and splashes and separates spilled food from spilled water. Spilled water drains into the lower reservoir while spilled food stays off the floor, so it can be safely reused or easily discarded! Created for dogs weighing 30-100 pounds and includes two 2-quart premium stainless steel bowls and set of 4 non-skid inserts. The Neater Feeder for Large Dogs has a standard bowl height of 20 inches. Taller dogs at the upper end of this weight range may be more comfortable with Leg Extensions (sold separately), which raise the bowl height to 28 - inches. Best drinking bowls ever-no more towels and mats on the floor or garage floor to mop up the water. I should have gotten the leg extensions (have boxers) but so far it is elevated enough. Absolutely works-even my husband is a fan. Wish they would make an XL version with deeper bowls to hold more water but am so happy to have this-it has made life definitely easier and dryer! Definitely recommend if you are tired of wet socks and damaged floors.

This feeder works very well. My 14 month old Saint Bernard is a very sloppy drinker (but a very thorough eater) and the Neater Feeder has worked great for him. I empty the base and clean the whole thing about once a week (the water down below can get pretty murky). Every time I empty it out I appreciate that all that water in the catchment base, about two bowls worth, would otherwise be on the floor. Two bowls worth of water in the base sounds like a lot, but he drinks between five and six bowls a day. At close to seventy dollars after shipping it was more money than I was looking to spend on a dog feeder, but in retrospect I'd do it again in a heartbeat to keep the mess off the floor. The non-skid rubber feet on the bottom come out pretty easily and one is missing already, but that is easily fixed and the feeder is by far the closest to what I was looking for. I did buy the extension legs and they snap in securely. Considering the alternatives, it has been a very worthwhile purchase.

I have a Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff) probably one of the messiest eaters out there! The Neater Feeder was the answer to my prayers! After many frustrating moments of stepping in slimy dog water or soggy wet food I decided it was time to give this product a shot. I LOVE it! Although it cannot prevent my dog from turning her head while eating and pieces landing on the floor it certainly cuts the mess by 95%. The water containment is amazing! I haven't stepped in dog water since we got it! I highly recommend this product for those with sloppy dogs. It is also much neater and safer if you have little ones in your home.
