Great product

I was looking for a quick and easy tire inflation device that would inflate my 33" Jeep tires when offroading. While shopping, I noted that the Viair 300P was touted as handling the job. While I have not used it offroad yet, I have tried it out at home, and it appears to work just as promised. As usual, the price was the lowest anywhere and the shipping was fast and easy. Seems to be a great product at a great price.

Great compressor! Have used multiple times since purchase, and compressor does its duty faithfully every time. The air gauge attached to unit is way off, but isn't that par for the course?

I already have a VIAIR 85P, but needed a higher pressure capability for trailer tires. I've been impressed with the 85P's quality and performance compared with all other 12V compressors I've used, so the VIAIR line was the first place I looked for a more powerful model.The 300P fills the bill admirably, not even breaking a sweat to bring the trailer tires up to 60 PSI from 45-48 PSI. It also works well on my 31" truck tires, where the pressure is lower, but the volume is much greater. All the fittings in the kit are nicely finished and work well, from the strong, well-insulated battery clips to the valve stem clamp-on fitting, which works exceptionally well, providing positive connection to the valve stem with hardly any air loss while attaching/detaching.This compressor is a high quality product that I expect will give me years of reliable service. It costs a bit more, but from what I've seen, this is clearly a case of getting what you pay for. I'd recommend it to anyone needing a very portable compressor for general automotive use.
