McCoy Figure: Dragon Ball Z Goku

This statue is simply amazing. Packed with details and sturdy, the one of a kind Desktop Real McCoy Dragon Ball Z Goku (Series 2) is one of the best collectable item you can get.For die hard fans, this is a must. The figure reenacts the 34th cover of the original Dragon Ball manga, written and drawn by Akira Toriyama.Although it's compacted with details everywhere, the model itself is not that large.This is a limited edition item, yet there are other places to purchase this item. Seek elsewhere, because the McCoy series are actually around 4700 Yen ($59.35 USD).For $100, it is a rip-off.

Desktop Real McCoy Son Gokou series 02

The figure is indeed beautiful and brings to "life" Toriyama's carefree artwork from vol. 34 of the manga just like the series 01 figure. Like the series 01 figure the detail is amazing and even the smallest design is done perfectly. I wish they had released this worldwide for Dragon Ball (Z) Kai as any Dragon Ball fan would love to have this figure. When putting it together be careful as unless you can read Japanese it might prove a bit difficult even with the pictures, just go slow and it should be fine. Only pet peeve is that the box is so big but Megahouse and many other Japanese companies have a tendency to use large boxes, still it's a pretty box so it's no big deal.I bought it for around $82 (including shipping) which is more than it's original price in Japan but is the lowest you'd find now nearly anywhere outside Japan. I got it from a online store called ChipSpain, the site has several different languages including English so it isn't too difficult to navigate.Edit:There will be a reselling of this figure at retail price (a little over $50) at many Japanese and domestic import stores in March 2013. If you're looking for this figure and were holding out now is the time to buy.
