The mill begins with Castelli's super-warm and ultra-stretchy Thermoflex fabric (used in many of its winter pieces) receiving an exterior coating of ultra-tiny nanofilaments of silicone fiber. These fibers create a near waterproof barrier to moisture, and raindrops run off the fabric without soaking through. Despite its water-resistant finish, Nanoflex fabric remains highly breathable, keeping you comfortable in almost any condition.Silicone leg grippers keep the Nanoflex legwarmers in place on the hardest of rides, and ankle zips make them easy to get past the largest feet. Looking for Something Warm

I did alot of review reading on and off line concerning different types of leg wamers and I decided on the Castelli Nanoflex. I'm 5"10 195 and ordered the XL because I did not want them to be tight in the thigh area but it does give you room to pull up and over your thigh. They are a little tight around the calf but with the lower zipper they stay in place and fit very comfortable. I think they are price right expecially the quality you are getting from Castelli !!

Very warm and water resistant.

I already had a pair of the Nanoflex arm warmers and these things are warm and water resistant. The leg warmers run a little smallmso I had to get the Extra Large rather than Large size.

Rode these in a mild and damp climate in the afternoon in 45F. Worked great and kept me dry through all the puddles. Cleans well just simply sprayed it with the hose to take all dirt off. Had a size medium for my 5'7" at 160 pounds, little tight around the calf area.
