Nice Silent Alarm

Being that I am profoundly hearing impaired this alarm has helped greatly in the past with my fathers night wandering. Accompanied with a wireless motion detector (sold separately) in his room at night it would awaken me with a momentary vibration and a blinking light to let me know when he had risen. There is no loud audible alarm with this alarm clock. It is strictly a bed vibrating silent alarm with more than just a clock setting. There are a variety of accessories (like different wireless alarm triggers) that can be found at Clarity.com. Most all of which can be found here at Amazon. The clock itself looks as though it could be easily knocked over by its slanting look in the picture but I will attest to the fact it is very sturdy as well being heavy so it shouldn't be knocked over when hitting "off" or "snooze". This was an issue I had thought of before purchasing it but having had it for about a year now I can safely say I haven't knocked it over yet. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a hearing disability as well as those with hearing. It is a well built product and foremost has never failed in its ability to notify.

During parties it is difficult to keep people out of the upstairs bedrooms. I really dont want guests prancing around in my 'mighty beef' skivies while i'm serving tea and crumpets to aunt margie downstairs.This gizmo works great in keeping you in touch at whats going on in your house. Specific settings allow you to customize the exact use that is intended. Large areas, small halls, child watch. Great added security system.I hooked ours up to a '70's disco mirror ball and lazer light. During our last family lunch cousin Judy (with the big nose) went upstairs to snoop. She walked into the bedroom thus tripping the (delay swich) Al10 Alertmaster and activated the lazer/discoball defence system. The lazer beams went shooting all across the bedroom like a swarm of killer bees. Stinging her unmercilessly as she tried to remove my GI Joe boxers and simultaneously bolt out the door undetected. . . . There she then sat at out afternoon luncheon, pox-marked and itchy. Unknowing we have it all in slowmotion, caught on the bed room security cam.
