Not sure I like the Zip

I thought the zip might be a good way to slip them on and off, which it is, but the downside is that it bunches up material against your ankle making it pretty uncomfortable after a while. My remedy to this is to bunch up my socks at this point for extra padding. Also i'm concerned about the longevity of the zipper, although it looks like a quality zipper, it will definitely be the first weak link to fail and once it does the boot is pretty much useless. The zipper idea aside these boots are very well made and will probably long outlast the stupid zipper. Go with regular boots

Perfect

These shoes took just under two days to be broken in and after that they have been amazing. Keep my feet warm and protected all the time. Would definitely recommend these to any first responder or everyday worker.
