Narrow shaft

The description here does not list the shaft circumference, but other places list it is 15". At the very top of the boot, it is 15". However, it is extremely narrow (11-13") up until about the last 2" of height.Great boot if you have a skinny calf, but not so good if you need a 15" where your calf actually starts, you know, mid shin.The leather is very supple and it is comfortable in the shoe portion. I just wish I could zip it.

Gorgeous!!

Wow! I got these for Christmas. They are more gorgeous in person that online. The are a tad loose at the top, but they look great that way! They're so unique. The leather is so soft. The fit true to size. Don't be afraid to order your normal size.The only disappointment is that they are now $100 cheaper than when we ordered them about 3 weeks ago. Of course that's Amazon & not Makowsky.

Great Leather boot, but for skinny feet!

I ordered these boots online when I saw them on sale. I thought they looked very elegant and sleek and would fit perfectly with any office outfit and skinny jeans. Finally got them last week and couldn't get them zipped. I have an average foot that usually fits into almost all shoes. These boots fit perfectly in size (and I wear 6) but were too narrow. The shaft was also perfect, not too wide, not too narrow. Anyways, I ended up taking them to a shoe repair and asking them to widen them a bit. Not sure how that will turn out. Otherwise, boots are made of nice, soft quality leather.
