Amazing Service

First off, this is my third Cordoba Ukulele (I have a soprano and a higher end concert as well). I also own a Martin and a Kanile'a, both VERY expensive and beautiful. But my uke of choice is the Cordoba. It has a beautiful tone and is built to exacting standards. I have not been disappointed yet, and doubt that I will be.Although this is a lower-end unit, it is built with the same care and attention to detail that I have found in their other, more expensive insturmeents. It also comes with the Aquila, nylgut strings. These provide exquisite tone and durability.This purchase was a gift for a friend, who is beginning on the uke, so I chose this as a starter model. Unfortunately it does NOT come with a Cordoba gig bag, as indicated in the item description. (Unless they've corrected the advertising error by now.) I promptly contacted customer support at the originating shipper, Tornavoz Music, and was connected to a wonderful customer service rep, who was kind, efficient, and QUICKLY corrected the issue by sending a bag, which they actually had no obligation to do. But it is that type of class service associated with the Cordoba line, and this particular vendor, that will keep me coming back to Cordoba, and now Tornavoz Music, for all my needs.

This is my first ukulele, so i really don't have a frame of reference. That being said, I love it! First of all. It's pretty :) It's a very beautiful instrument, and there didn't seem to be anything wrong with its construction.Secondly, the sound quality is very good. Me and my housemates were all very impressed. It came strung with Aquilla Nylgut strings, strung to high g.I live in Australia, and my package only took eight days show up. Packaged perfectly.To sum up, I'm very happy with this uke. It looks and sounds amazing, and is a real joy to play.

This was the fourth ukulele I bought after buying a Makala Dolphin and Tenor and a Kohala. I actually returned the kohala to get this one and was glad they let me do it. I was in Guitar Center playing the ukuleles they had on the wall and of the ones I looked at, including fender, mitchell, lanikai, this one sounded the best to me. It had the nicest tone. Its a great deal for a nice solid wood ukulele. Mine did not come with a gig bag. The neck on it feels good. It has a nice fretboard. I did adjust the nut and saddle a little to improve the playability.
