It has pros and cons

This products is great because it is breathable, especially since my daughter could roll over at 9 weeks. However, there are many things I don't like about the mattress. Such as, it doesn't fit ever crib. We had to push very hard on the base to get it to fit our crib (I'm not really sure if it will come out). The mattresses are very expensive (you will need more than one) and the shape of the mattress is very awkward so it stalls my washer every time. In addition, the mattress is difficult to get on, especially if your doing it by yourself. One last thing, the mattress also gives my baby like a rug burn on her knees if she doesn't have something covering her legs. I am not trying to be a downer on this product, I just feel it's important to make sure everyone is aware of the downfalls of this product.

Be careful!

BUYER BEWARE!We bought two for our twins. Great idea in principle but it didn't work: Babies would not sleep, it stretches very tight and becomes a hard surface that our babies did not sleep on. Called the merchant (Kelly) and were told we could return the products for a refund.We shipped the mattresses back July 7th 2012 and still no refund. When we try to call they don't answer the phone and do not return our messages. We are now without the entire purchase price for two, the return shipping fees for two, and the product itself. In other words we are totally empty-handed after spending over 1250 dollars.So BE CAREFUL. It may or may not work for your baby, but it's a big financial gamble you'll be taking.

This is a GREAT product! Baby sleeps sound & so do we!

This mattress base from Secure Beginnings that fits in a majority of cribs and holds the mattress in place provided us with peace of mind. It is very well made, and matches the wood tone of the crib very nicely. It has been 5 months now and the baby sleeps soundly. The flower hole design on the sides allows for adequate airflow around the baby at all times. This helps to keep the baby's sleeping environment an even temperature throughout the night to prevent overheating. A big thank you to Secure Beginnings for developing the revolutionary product for babies and also thank you to Amazon for providing such great service! We are very pleased!
