Best commuter pack ever!
By Elliott M. Edens
I've had this pack for about 6 months now, and can definitely say that I will never need to buy another backpack. The huge central compartment, built in rainfly, comfortable straps, 5 additional compartments + 2 strap pouches, and Osprey's unbeatable forever guarantee make this bag my absolute favorite. The shape of the bag makes commuting on a bike (or in my case a motorcycle) much easier. The bag is wider at the top and narrows down at the bottom, following the natural shape of your upper body. What this means is that you don't have a bunch of bag hanging out in the wind, acting as a parachute to slow you down. Instead, it sits snugly on your back, unexposed. The laptop sleeve is big enough to fit my 16" laptop with it's extra large battery pack. Of all the features, the rainfly is probably my favorite. It's easy to pull out of its nice little storage compartment, easy to put back. It works great as an attention getter when riding in traffic (it's neon yellow). On top of everything, it also has Osprey's Almighty Guarantee, which means if something breaks, tears, stretches, stops working, goes wrong, etc. Osprey will fix or replace it for free. Even if it was your fault. (Such as sliding on your backpack during a bike wreck) While it is pricey, it ends up costing you less than buying a backpack every 1-3 years.

Bigger on the inside
By Scott Hall
I swear this bag is bigger on the inside than the outside, I can fit a weekends worth of stuff in the bag no problem and the design of the straps makes it not uncomfortable to ride a motorcycle with 40 lbs of gear on your back.My only wish to change on the bag is the removal of the phone/key pouches from the shoulder straps, they would have been better left as an optional/removable item.

This Backpack Flat Out Rocks!
By George E Webster
This backpack is great! It was designed for cyclists and really keeps a low profile against the wearer's back and doesn't stick out on the sides. For those of us who aren't avid cyclists, this means that your backpack won't constantly be bumping into things when worn in tight quarters or catching on branches or other protruding objects on the trail. On top of that, it also means your backpack will look a lot cooler than average. Unless it's very full, however, the front flap will fall lower over the body of the bag than the picture suggests. For me, this was not a problem. Technically speaking, the bag is very well designed. I am 5'10" and fairly broad shouldered and this size fits me well. Shorter people may want to opt for a smaller version because the back of the bag could extend farther down the back than is comfortable. The shoulder straps are very comfortable and easy to adjust, the torso and waist straps provide extra support whenever needed and the exterior pockets keep my gear organized and accessible. The main compartment is downright cavernous and has a laptop compartment organizer pocket for papers/notebooks and a mesh pocket for easy access to frequently used items. side pockets are fairly shallow, but large and great for holding small items that you want close at hand. There's also a large pocket in the top of the flap for stuff you don't want to open up the whole bag to get at. The built in rainfly and helmet holder are nice touches as well, but I don't generally need to use them. I've been using this backpack for about 6 months now and I strongly recommend it.
