Perfect Aftermarket Replacement

Somehow my 2008 Honda Civic Sedan factory tail light got a hole punched in it, and I wanted to replace it before the bulb burned out.I purchased this item from Amazon, and it's a perfect fit. It looks exactly like the old one, which was a requirement since I'm only changing out one tail light (the other remains factory original).My only complaint is why Honda put a screw underneath the tail light, requiring the removal of the bumper cover to get the old one out. That complaint, obviously, has nothing to do with this product, but rather the design from Honda.In all, I was able to swap it out in about 30 minutes. It comes with bulbs pre-installed, so you can save your old ones to use are replacements (an added value).

Was not a precise fit -- off by 1/4 inch, plastic to metal, but works OK. I'd suggest they also include instructions for how to replace the part--as for this car, its not simple if you've not done this replacement before.
