Can't find better for price!

I have been in the security / video business for 45 yrs and I'm telling you that this item is both a great motion detector and camera. The picture and field of view are GREAT. Very easy to install and hook up. Don't hesitate to order this product you WILL NOT be disapointed.(Does need some light for good picture as it has no infared lighting)

Awesome Camera for the money.5 STAR rating is very deserving. Forget the 4 star review by the other person below my post, he is totally wrong. This is directed at that person:IF you want sound features...BUY sound features.This camera with description says clearly it has none. Look elsewhere.About the camera itself it is almost perfect for the features it does have.Now on to my personal review:It is very clear and sharp when viewed with a hi-res monitor. On a crt television it is only ok.That is the same for all crt tvs.They do not have the required resolution to take advantage of the HD this camera offers.The colors are just perfect and it works great right out of the box. I didn't have to tweak anything in at all.Amazing for a non-expensive camera. I own many other other cameras (8 actually) that cost up to $200.00 each and this is a better camera by far than all those more expensive cameras.I own MACE, VIVATECK and SONY BRAND ccds.For instance, I bought a Mace MVC-IRVB-49 480 TV lines (Color) MAX Resolution BNC SQ Series IR Vandal Resistant Bullet Camera for $192.99 elsewhere on the internet and it is lousy compared to this Vitek.The Mace cameras all use old Sony CCD technology and they are all really not that good. Clarity and distance is poor in daylight, very bad at night.Tech Support at Mace is not very intelligent either. The Tech person said I can't mount the camera to a vinyl sided home because vinyl is porous.Hey, wood is porous, brick is porous, stone is porous, what ISN'T porous? Glass...I don't live in a glass house. Do you?That Mace Rep needs a grammar school education, I'm positive he does not have one. Terrible.The SONY SNC-DS60 Mini Dome Network Camera I own that cost much more than this camera, at $690.00 this camera is about the same league as the Vitek as far as clarity, distance and color.THINK ABOUT THAT.A $700.00 camera vs. a $90.00 camera and I like the cheaper camera just as much, if not more.Vitek is exceptional. They only build quality product. They build professional product and sell their product to Licensed Security Equipment Installers.Vitek's reps are well versed and helpful.Vitek's Slaes and main offices are located in California, USA. The Rep I spoke to is located in the U.S.A. and is American. He is English speaking and intelligent to boot.He was concerned, answered all my questions, was very helpful in choosing the right camera for me AND he didn't try to over-sell me. He recommended his cheapest product. That's right, I said his cheapest camera, for my needs in a particular situation.Where do you find that kind of honesty and integrity today in this world?Vitek...you have a customer for life now, as long as you maintain those standards.
