Comfortable but wear quickly.

I have owned 2 pairs of Born shoes & 2 pairs of Born sandals. All were *extremely* comfortable. The problems I have with the shoes. I am an average height and weight guy, so I am a pretty common consumer.1. The soles wear quickly. The pair I am reviewing have been worn daily to an office work environment. The soles are a very soft material and after almost a year of wear the soles are pretty featureless. They are just worn out. The leather is still in fantastic shape.2. The trim around the heal seems to chip or wear off fairly quickly. After about a month of wear there are small pieces that are missing or are peeling off.I will more than likely buy Born shoes again, however, this time I will check the fit and finish prior to dropping a hundred.
