Swiss, quality elegance at an affordable price; reliable

The Tissot PRS 516 is an exceptional Swiss, automatic watch for the price, and my experience with this seller is very satisfying.I must admit that I was hesitant to buy such an expensive watch via the Internet, but I could not be happier with my purchase. The Tissot watch arrived, as promised, from Watchsavings.com in its original box with all factory-fresh, new materials. The box itself is quite substantial and elegant, and it included the watch (nicely displayed on a Tissot pillow), an owner's manual, a history of the Tissot company, and a 2010 catalog. Honestly, it was more than I expected.Of course, the watch itself was flawless; covered in protective plastic and cellophane to protect it during the shipping process. Once unwrapped, it was a simple matter of giving it a few gentle shakes back and forth to get the automatic mechanism to start the watch. Since I've started it, it has kept perfect time. There is a counterweight within the watch that winds the spring with normal movement of the arm and wrist. (There's a clear, plastic window behind the dial face that allows you to witness the inner workings of the watch.) I did have to visit a local jewelry store to get them to remove two links from the band so that it would fit my wrist properly, but it was a simple and cheap trip.Overall, I'm very pleased with my new Tissot watch. It's an exceptional time piece, and one that I will be proud to wear for years to come.

If you are looking for a large, well made, reasonably priced swiss timepiece...then look no further. I'm partial to larger watches and insist on them having thicker heavier bands as well as a large face and tall case. This watch has everything I was looking for in a cost effective but quality swiss timepiece. I could not be happier with my purchase and plan to buy many more watches from Tissot in the future.

I just received this watch, and it is all I had hoped for. Beautiful, masculine, heavy, visually striking and accurate. Be aware, this is a fairly hearty watch. I am 6'5", 240, with large wrists. This watch fits well for me, but if you have a smaller frame, it might not be what you are looking for.This is the most expensive watch I have ordered from Amazon, but it arrived safely, securely and on time. Tissot makes great timepieces, and what makes this one interesting is its simplicity. Day/date, sweep second hand, automatic. Move it around a little, and get the internal counterweight going (see it through the wondow on the back), and the watch is ready to go.I have many other watches, but this one will be the one I default to wearing.
