I installed 4 of these into a 2009 Mac Pro (Nehalem) and they work great. 32GB allows for smooth running of 4 VMs. I've had these RAM for a few months and so far no problems.

I almost bought 2 of these... Description says...Kingston 8GB 1066MHz DDR3 DIMM Desktop Memory With Thermal Sensor For Select Mac Pro's KTA-MP1066QR/8Gbut when you read closer and in detail you will see it's a different item what is it in title.it's really 8GB module of 1333MHz DDR3 Desktop MemoryDifference between 1066MHz and 1333MHz... it's a big deal...I don't want to damage my computer by this mistake...

I installed this item in my Xserve and it worked great! Absolutely no problems with the installation, and the temperature sensor works exactly as if Apple RAM modules were installed. The only quirk was that I had to remove my old RAM modules because you can't mix registered and non-registered memory, but I knew that going in.
