Don't let the look fool you...

Okay, so basically I am very disappointed in this purchase. They feel cheap, and they are NOT comfortable. However, if you do feel the need to buy them anyway, let me warn you of a few things.The heel will gouge the back of your foot to oblivion, and the laces are about twice as long as they need to be. So for people who actually tie their shoes, like me, this is a nightmare. Plus, the laces are so shoddy anyway that in the second week of wear they start fraying and become increasingly difficult to work with.I don't know how this happened. The last pair of Vans I owned were remarkable and I was so excited to be getting another pair. I am deeply frustrated with these shoes.PROS:AffordableThey look awesomeI don't feel bad about getting them dirtyThey break in eventually...CONS:VERY uncomfortableCheap materials and even worse lacesProbably not worth $50

The shoes run a little small (IMO)... but otherwise, the style and durability are great! I'd go a half size higher just to make sure they aren't too snug if you like to wear.
