i got this dryer because i've had babyliss dryers in the past and had mostly good experiences with them. i'm a busy hairdresser and i blow dry a lot of hair so i want something hot and powerful, with strong airflow...this mid-size dryer has all of those things and it's very lightweight which i love...my only complaint is that because it is a mid-size dryer it's really easy for the hair to get sucked into the motor at the back end of it even though it has a protective screen on it..you just have to be aware of this and be very careful...once i knew this would happen, i just adjusted for it and it's fine...if you're a hairdresser and thinking of getting this, try it...it's strong and hot...a reasonably priced pro dryer...love it..

As a cosmetologist, I have to say as far as performance, this dryer is one of the best I have purchased. It's very light in weight and has a generous amount of cord length. It also maintains a good level of heat to produce a great blow out.
